Really high on PG at his best. I think he's a better defender than Pippen at his best. Tatum is probably the weakest player here on both ends.

Butler has about 4 different seasons on 4 different teams where I believe he was better than Pippen.

In what way? Averaged 27/7/5/2 on good efficiency last 2 playoffs and led Heat to the Finals 2/4 seasons with Bam as his best teammate. Averaged 26/8/9 on 65% TS in the 1st Finals against LeBron/AD and took 2 games literally by himself.

He’s definitely much more preferable to George/Harden/Tatum/Embiid when the lights are brightest but at the same time he’s inconsistent. Is gone for most of the regular season and either disappears or is too passive for chains of playoff games. Thats not a recipe for success. No one gets more of a pass than Jimmy does for playing crap games.

By the way, we’re talking about peak, I don’t think any of these guys are sniffing OKC 2018-19 George’s peak. He could score efficiently on higher volume than Jimmy while playing elite defense. 3rd in the MVP race.
