I don't think they have them yet. One more year

They can offer him up to 175% of last years salary - so I think that puts him in the 4.7-5m range
I was thinking the same thinking - could they pay him the higher number and trade him in an S&T-- my guess, probably not.

Early bird is after 2 years. We can sign him up to league avg contract somewhere around 10m. (1 more year to get his full bird rights).

Suns need another C that has some weight and size.

Right now, one injury to Nurkic or Plumlee and the Suns have no backup C except for a 215 lb skinny kid.

So you wanna carry 4 centers? In a league that is slowly phasing them out? Idk, I'd rather get a true PG. Give me Fultz at the top of the list, especially if they can talk Beal into coming off the bench. Then a developmental point to put behind.

Any my guess, can sign him but have to wait until 12/15 or 1/15/2025 to be able to trade him?

thanks for the correction on the league average - I read the 175%

Since when are centers being phased out?
4 of the top 10 players are 6'11 and plays center in one form or another. Giannis, Davis, Embiid and World's Best Player Jokic.

And Wembanyama about to put up Wilt Chamberlain stats in the modern era.

What you mean to say is.... stiffs, unskilled centers or bigs are being phased out.

It's always been the case. Back in the 90s most of the playoff teams had an elite defensive center or 2 way All Star Center.

Bol Bol is waste of spot if he's not going to improve and actually play minutes.

The guy is 7'2, has skills but skinny as heck.
Also low IQ.

Now, if he just adds mass, mainly legs and also watch more tapes and get someone to coach him. He can be a stretch 5 like a Porzingis or a skinny Lopez. Perfect for Bud's system. But the guy thinks he's a wing. Someone get him a big man coach and force him to put up lower body weight and he'd have a long NBA career.

Why would Suns help Lakers get a player that fits their need?

Like it or not, Beal had a decent season for Suns. His biggest knock is injuries... and that he is being forced to play PG because Booker plays his spot.

Which is why I want Beal to come off bench, sign another PG.... Beal and Book play the same spot - thats not good.

Granted if the Lakers did that deal - I wouldn't hate it - even without the draft picks

Beal is our starting PG. period. Anything else and its an admission of error by the smartest man in the front office… who happens to be all-in- Wishbia.

Just live with it for a few months… big decisions will come in december

Well if we can land Embiid, Joker or Wemby sign me up. I wasn't aware that they were otw to the Valley. If not, then color me unimpressed.

Point guard is available at a higher quality level than center. Right now, at least.
