just FYI there were a lot of people clowning on fans for proposing Mikal trades because they never thought it would happen.

Traded with TOR - people never thought it would happen with the law suit going on

Traded with Nets - people never thought it would happen with he cross town rivalry

just need to check off the Ainge box to complete the trifecta of unlikely deals.

No, just better than Tyrese Maxey.

Fury & Buzz, he's trolling...I dont even believe he's a knick fan and I'm being dead series...Brunson was a top 5 MVP candidate.
Maxey is just getting started

So can Sims make a leap? Is Nick Richards that much better?

this guy?

I know buzz is just a troll, but it's really weak bait to call a guy 2 seasons in, who's started 62 of his 138 games, a "career backup" especially when the guy we just lost as our starter has only started in 61 games across 6 seasons.

If Utah trades Lauri… maybe they look to trade Kessler next while he still has value.

Sims' issue is that he doesn't understand basic rotations

Utah desperately needs to keep hits lightly protected pick from conveying to OKC or they lose it. So that is something to monitor...they can't be a 40 win team again or they probably lose that pick.

You know Utah is salivating of Cooper Flagg in Utah

Yes. An R-DAWG word salad on why the Knicks suck and are on a treadmill.

Now that I think about it, it's usually a choice of either word salad or souped up, not both.

If this were during the season, it would be hard to take his point of view seriously. But this being the dog days of summer, it seems like there's nothing better to do than debate arrh-dog. I'd still prefer real basketball, though.

Philly improved alot but they probably only have 1 or 2 years with that core being good tho. I think we go in with Kessler which is good enough to contain Embib along with Mitch in the playoffs. Two strong defensive centers is a must. I'm not against Dwight Howard hanging at the end of the bench to be used for strictly for Embib.

Philly will be lucky to get to the playoffs and out of the first round as usual. PG is a great player. In a vacuum they have a great big three with zero depth. In reality they have an oft injured/playoff choking big three with zero depth. Clippers East. If they make an ECF I'll be surprised. Bunch of sunshine being blown up everyone's ass over this team.

Realistically, what is Deuce worth?

Seems like a pick would be what Ainge wants more than Deuce himself.

As mpharris says, the Jazz want to tank this year as they lose their pick if its not in the top 10, and the draft is going to be great supposedly so they want to tank regardless. Not that Deuce would lead them to the playoffs, and he’s on a great contract, but who knows what Ainge is thinking.

Flip Deuce for a top 10/lotto protected 1st, then send that and other spare parts for Kessler?

Honestly though, the Jazz would probably pump Deuce’s value more there if he plays a lot, and they could flip him themselves later if needed. If they like him that would be the better play.

I just have a very hard time seeing Ainge trade a young starting level center who finished 2nd in ROY, was on Team USA, and has elite defensive abilities already for a solid undersized SG who just started playing the 2nd half of his 3rd season only after half the team got hurt and traded.
