There isnt a chance that Beal comes off the bench. I also don't want Allen as a starter.

Why would Suns help Lakers get a player that fits their need?

Like it or not, Beal had a decent season for Suns. His biggest knock is injuries... and that he is being forced to play PG because Booker plays his spot.

Which is why I want Beal to come off bench, sign another PG.... Beal and Book play the same spot - thats not good.

Granted if the Lakers did that deal - I wouldn't hate it - even without the draft picks

Said the same thing at least 19 times now

Beal as the Ginobili type player

Off the bench is critical to chenistry

The guy is 7'2, has skills but skinny as heck.
Also low IQ.

Now, if he just adds mass, mainly legs and also watch more tapes and get someone to coach him. He can be a stretch 5 like a Porzingis or a skinny Lopez. Perfect for Bud's system. But the guy thinks he's a wing. Someone get him a big man coach and force him to put up lower body weight and he'd have a long NBA career.

I would assume bringing him back equals significantly increasing his role on this team.

I think I finally figured out the suns plan....

They didnt trade KD because they want 1 more year of training Bol Bol under him....This is why they signed Bol Bol to just a 1 year contract...

Next year we will trade KD and max Bol Bol...

Totally agree with you. Also doesn't mean Beal can't be on the floor to finish games. Just means he is not starting.

The money is the money - but thats not changing. Its about winning

I see that the Warriors/Clippers are in full-blown panic mode with those Hakeem Warrick/Josh Childress level players

Bol Bol's advanced stats were kind of ridiculous this past season.
70% TS, FG% by distance: 0-3 feet 93% (28 attempts), 3-10 feet 68% (41 attempts), 10-16 feet 59% (23 attempts), 16-3P 50% (2 attempts, maybe 4 attempts?), 3P 42% (52 attempts). Limited sample size because he only had 151 total FGA's, but I imagine when Bol plays with at least two of the Suns big 3, he gets some easy looking buckets.

I am low-key hoping he becomes the starter over Nurkic at some point because I think Bol is versatile and would be a pivotal piece to the kind of offense Budenholzer likely wants to run.

I actually want Bol to start the season as Suns starting center and play him 20 minutes minimum. His IQ is low because he doesn't play but with enough minutes I think he will improve quickly.

The guy is a mini Wembanyama slash skinny Porzingis/Lopez if he plays Center.

This is exactly what it reminded me of. Though I don't think losing Klay Thompson at this point in his career will have the same impact as losing prime Amare Stoudemire. Amare also didn't miss a single game in the 2009-10 season, and quite honestly after looking back at his games played, he only missed about 32 games from 2006-07 season to 2009-10 season. Quite possibly one of the worst blunders for free agency (along with Joe Johnson).

Imagine the Suns kept Amare, and then someone still landed Marcin Gortat who was playing very limited minutes for the Magic at the time. Suns really imploded that summer and further in the season when they traded J-Rich for VC, Dragic for Aaron Brooks. What a tragedy.

I didn't see any evidence that Bol Bol was low IQ last season (as opposed to his year with the Magic - plenty of boneheadedness on display). Nor did I see any evidence that he's a center. He just didn't get the PT he seemed to deserve. Hoping he gets it this season.

Sixers planning to waive or trade Paul Reed apparently. Wish we could get him. He's much better than Mason (or any) Plumlee.

Max for Bol next year from the Suns is the NBA average salary

I am not sure its that bad as Childress and WArrick (and by the way, those were not bad signings EXCEPT for one thing, the years - they were fine one year signings to keep cap space - but I digress) - but yes, trading Buddy Hield for a trade exception and taking on Slo Mo Anderson -- not sure that is making them that much butt

Beal, Booker, O'Neale, Durant, Nurkic
Morris, Allen, F*, Bol, Plumlee
PG*, Lee, Dunn, Little, Ighodaro*
Gillespie, Bridges

- I think we waive Roddy to get a 2nd PG
- Get a FA big wing like Covington.
- Likely Ighodaro 3rd Center

I wish we could move Durant to Sf to start and run a rim running athletic defensive minded big at pf.

Where would he get minutes?
