Sexton
JJJ
Lauri
Bam
Ware
Would be a fun future with the potential of consolidating 2 of those guys into a Fox/Mitchell or whatever younger alll star becomes available 1 day if needed

Reminds me of Wade’s rookie season. I’d be ok with a youth movement, I just want them to pick a side. The irony is that if they actually decided to commit to youth, then we would be in a pretty decent spot. We have a lot of nice young players to develop. With Jimmy on the team it will always be win now.

I don't foresee that ever happening, but it would be really really fun to watch.

We should bring back Cain instead of O. Robinson at least

Charlotte, Utah or Detroit seem like logical trade partners.
Charlotte would be Bertans and Williams and a pick IMO.
Detroit would be Isaiah Stewart and a pick? I assume they can eat the difference in Tyler's salary.
Utah would perhaps be Jordan Clarkson and a pick?

No Heat talk, but some talk about 2 teams that were recently trying to acquire Lauri. Fischer says he thinks there's a 10% chance Lauri is moved but why not explore trades until they can extend him next month.

Re: Miami Heat Offseason Thread Vol. 4: Fraudfather Snoozin 2.0
It all depends on the cost. Lauri is a nice player, but again, is he a true option 1A? He's a nice ancillary piece and on paper, fits very well with Bam now and longer term.
He's good, but if we're giving up multiple firsts and all our young talent? I don't know about it.

To add context this is me just pointing out pieces for the future post Lauri/Sexton Heatin5 swap he posted IF we were able to keep Jaime, Jimmy would still be here.
Imo a Herro Jovic 2 1sts trade trumps the warriors 2 1sts if they’re unwilling to add Podz and Kuminga if that’s the current front runner for Lauri whom the Jazz seem to be willing to trade now.
But yes not likely at all and I don’t even think we’re entertaining Lauri for whatever reason despite him being the literal perfect fit

Sign me up for literally any of them, and I see Bertans is partially guaranteed or maybe non guaranteed if we were to cut him instantly?

How does that play out?
Take a look at the Clippers and that would give you a good idea.
Ballmer became owner of the Clippers 10 years ago. Both the Heat and Clippers have 0 championships in that time span.

True, but we have multiple Finals appearances. The Clips can't boast of that

It would be hard for me stomach losing the 3rd best player in franchise history and not rerouting those picks for a Fox or whatever young all star to put next to Bam tbh

Do a quick lil rebuild and we might draft the next franchise star. We can continue to groom the next wave that is rapidly approaching.
