Salaun is a PF

Why do you select Salaun over one of the wings unless you know Miles is gone

Because when you are the worst team in the NBA by net rating you take BPA and don't draft for need.

Also, Miles, Tidjane, Grant are all super versatile due to size, strength and shooting. Nobody is hard wired into a specific role out of those 3.

I think he's a SF/PF.

Realistically, his ideal outcome is to be a good switchable defender (potentially 1-5 with his size/quickness) and be an above average 3pt shooter.

Something like 12/8 on 45/38/80.

So yeah, basically PJ but bigger. Stop the step backs, the attempting to make his own shot etc. In other words, don't be like Kai. He's never going to be a passer or ball handler, so don't do fancy dribble/playmaking stuff either. So don't be like Kai.

If he takes more leaps past PJ, he could maybe be a Tobias Harris type. If he ends up becoming a higher end shooter, MPJ.

He has a lot of variability in who he could be. From really solid starter to out of the league. In all these outcomes, he has to play within his role and don't try to do too much.

So don't be like Kai.

This should be the first class in Hornets day 1 induction with any future draft pick.

Maybe when he's unemployed soon we can hire Kai this time each year to come in and be the token mess that forewarns everyone not to be a **** up like he was.

I can see into the near future...

"Tidjane Salaun's knee laceration, originally not believed to be serious, will cause the Hornets rookie forward to miss all of Summer League and potentially training camp as well.

'It's just not responded like we'd hoped,' Charlotte coach Charles Lee said. 'We'll take it day by day.'"

We aren't gonna see him play until garbage time early in preseason and even then, it won't be more than 1-2 minutes.

Could we have a French Hammer?

Lol I wish I could get onto you about this. But I can't.

Watching his highlights, his go to move is the 1 armed hang from the rim after he dunks for a split second. I am a fan.
