So far Bucks have signed less washed versions of Bev and Jae with Wright and Prince. I fully expect Horst trying to get a Beasley with some D for the final spot and Gary Trent Jr seems to be that guy. Bucks should have good odds since we are the only team with a starting SG spot available. So..

Bucks in Reath
Portland in Connaughton
Third team in something to make it work

That balances the roster perfectly, puts Bucks below the 2nd apron with access to the tax MLE to offer GTJ a 5 mil contract with the special Horsty PO.

Dame/Wright/Johnson
Trent/Green/Marjon
Midds/AJJ/Livingston
Giannis/Prince/Smith
Brook/Bobby/Reath

Duop and Trent would be unreal I just don't understand why Trent would take such a pay cut.

We could do a lot worse than Nick Calathes as a backup PG. :D

Our best hope would be him doing a cheap deal for one year to rehab his image on a good team.

Ainge is holding out for a haul (shock).

The Sacramento Kings were reportedly close to pulling off a trade for Utah Jazz star big man Lauri Markkanen, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports. “The Kings, to my knowledge, earlier this week were close to a deal,” he said during Wednesday’s No Cap Room podcast (40:30 mark). “I do think that, based off of conversations I’ve had. I can’t say more than that, but there were calls made to people around the NBA that would have indicated that talks have been legitimate there.”

He added that both the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs have reportedly shown interest, but that the Jazz are "conducting their business with a 10 percent chance they're going to move him."

If he’s dedicated to working on his shot and slowing the game down, he’s the ideal starting wing between Dame and Khris right? We’re looking for a wing with length, mobility, high energy and up in your face 94’ defense at the point of attack right? In theory, that should be him. Andre seems tailor made for the role we have a massive opening at.

That would be a hell of an improvement to go from where he was last year to starting SG. I think Green has a better shot at that then AJJ.

Given our cap situation what did you think was going to happen? We basically have 2 choices, trades or bargain FA and I think the 2 that have been reported are pretty solid pickups all things considered.

Did we sign JT Thor to a two way yet?

Thor or Dominic Barlow? Good options to get a mobile big to develop.

I agree Ajax could become a great starting SG for us eventually.

The key is becoming an elite defender.

Offensively if he uses his court vision to move the ball, runs the open court, attacks the boards, and at least takes wide open 3’s that’d be plenty.

It’d be huge if his defense gets there this season but that seems like a whole lot to ask for. Offense matters dramatically less comparatively.

If we were to bring Pat Bev back I’d feel better about pumping up Ajax’s mins to see how far his development gets before the playoffs.

I could definitely see us getting in on the Murray deal or a 3rd team in a potential Ingram deal.

Hoping we can move enough salary to also get Paul Reed for a 2nd or too.

I had a nightmare last night that the Bucks traded Middleton for the 57th pick in next year’s draft. And then I came here and some of you were ecstatic about it.

The Bucks have had a solid offseason for basically having zero flexibility. Picking up two defensive minded vets who were getting legitimate minutes for playoff teams last year in Prince and Wright for peanuts is great work along the margins by Horst. If they are able to pick up GTJ on a prove it deal then that is the cherry on top.

The draft picks have been dragged but I really don’t mind taking shots on high ceiling guys in this years draft. I do find it funny how this draft was universally panned as a very weak draft but people and the media (ESPN you rascal) are trashing the Bucks for not taking some mid 23 year old because they are “NBA ready”, even though we have no idea if they actually will be.

Tyler Smith especially is intriguing to me as a frontcourt pairing with Giannis in a few years with his size, athleticism, and shooting.

Now that we signed Prince, I’d love to find a way to acquire Okongwu for Portis. This helps us drop below the 2nd apron and adds an athletic back up center.

Edit: I just realized Okongwu makes $14MM next year so we also need to send out Pat C to make this deal work. Otherwise, we could target Nance Jr instead.

GT Jr. would be a home run considering the lack of assets and flexibility Bucks went into this offseason with.

I didn't expect prime Crowder but he was terrible
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
