So Ethan has confirmed what I ve been saying for two years. The Heat wants to keep Martin. The Heat offered Martin an extension which likely would of been 10 mill a year. Martin camp turned it down and felt they could go into the Free Agency and get more. I wouldnt be surprise the Heat are targeting to play the market to get Martin back. If Martin is still a free agent and a trade is available to open capspace to get Martin back at the rate the Heat wants I think it would happen.

If the Heat could make a move dealing Robinson and Herro that would allow the Heat to get Martin and Derozan, I would do it.

Just get the trade of Herro and Duncan for Zach LaVine over with. The door is open with Klutch now. It's a worthy gamble. I'll forgive the Heat front office if it doesn't work out. As long as the medicals check out with LaVine it's a worthy swing for the fence that we can bring the best out of LaVine here.

Trading Duncan with a 2nd or multiple seconds for a player making less or just straight space seems like a forgone conclusion at this point. Most likely to Detroit or Utah. Hence why the Burks signing makes so much sense.
