$2.5M to not miss over 20 games lol?!

Those have to be fake incentives

They are fake but now those fake incentives are costing us against the apron. Before they did not

I don’t get it lol

The new CBA makes them count against the cap, before it did not.

$4M in incentives that are just laughable at him attaining and would have us out of the 1st apron

Hell the $2.5M to play 75% of games might be impossible for him too seeing as he’s fragile as hell

LaVine fits a lot better then DeRozan does. It's also an easier trade of just having to deal Herro and Duncan. Also opens up about 7.5 million worth of first apron wiggle room after Orlando is either dealt or released.

Can't wait to stop by this board in the summer of 2026 (2 more years) to see what people think Herro's extension will be that summer.

Sounds like Chi doesn’t want add salary so it all but kills the derozan idea

Here’s another idea, see if Beal is willing to waive his no trade clause and if so offer Rozier, Duncan, and J Rich to Phoenix for him.

If they accept, offer Herro to Brooklyn for Schroeder and Finny Smith

Schroeder
Beal
Butler
Finny Smith
Bam

Would still need more guard help but at least Mia keeps all of their young players

Nope, not watching another season of Herro jacking up shots.

Ethan and 5 guys are about as reliable as Adam and his little group so take it with a grain of salt, unless you heard that elsewhere.

I still think Tyler fits what Chicago is trying to do very well, Duncan too.

We’ll see what happens, I’m fine with Beal as well, he’s on a 3 year like Lavine at this point

I’m on my hands a knees praying twice per hour that he’s gone this summer, we’ll see

I’m not holding my breath that Chi is gonna want to add more high salary guards until they move on from Lavine and possibly Ball too.

If Beal is willing to waive his no trade clause which would allow Mia the opportunity to move off of him in his final year would go a long way to even entertaining the idea of acquiring him

Well, if your guy would just take the regular season seriously and would be more assertive on offense, we won’t have the Herro problem. He’ll very likely still be the 6th man.

For a second when I saw your previous post I had a shock that we had traded Jimmy away, but thankfully that’s not the case :meditate:

When Chicago says they don’t want to add salary that has to be solely in regards to a DeRozan S&T which i get without getting compensation. With Herro and Duncan they’ll be getting Herro making 14 million less and 5 years younger than LaVine and Duncan’s expiring contract or ETO next year.

I guess OP and snoozin Pat have managed to break a lifelong Butler fan who even followed him through the lean Chicago years and the Minny stint :banghead:
