I doubt we're getting that much value for Bobby & I'd rather take a lotto protected 1st + Payton from them anyway. Payton fills our starting 2 spot well enough & I want to get more near future firsts for extra core player swings to be set up post Dame yrs.

Just run it back, right? No need to tinker.

They've already done their tinkering. I think the Bucks are now good with the rotation they've got.

Nope no way in hell you can run in the reg season with no SG n marjon AJJ n AJ arnt it.This love fest for AJJ is esta loco he hasnt dont anything n may never

I'm more concerned with the playoff center than the regular season SG. Delon Wright can play SG in the playoffs, that's all that matters. We still don't have a center who can keep up to playoff basketball.

The Bucks are better off at SG this season than they were when they won the title.

Sign Demar Derozen for peanuts and let's just win some games.

Sounds like we're keeping Rollins & Galloway on the 2-ways? I know they both got 2 years, but 2-way guys get punted all the time.

Also means ByeBye TyTy I guess.

Ok here's an idea:

GSW gets: B.Lopez, & P. Connaughton. They get a big that they need and Patty C. can back up Hield.

Magic get: Middleton. Magic yes signed KCP and resigned G.Harris, so maybe not a good match for Middleton but he could infuse a lot to this young talented team.

Nets get: C.Anthony and AJ Green. Anthony can either start or backup Schroder.

OKC gets: Portis, Beaucamp. Even though OKC singed Hairstein, getting Portis would give them a HUGE uplift in their front court.

Bucks get: A. Wiggins, L. Dort, DFS, WCJ, M.Moody, Jaylin Williams, and 25 1st (Den/via Orl). Wiggins becomes our starting 3, hoping being in a new place helps him get back to being close to an all-star. Dort becomes our 2. Brings his defense grit & with OKC resigning Wiggins and I.Joe to big deals Dort might be expendable. DFS becomes our Portis like player, great on defense. WCJ becomes our starting 5, young big who can shoot and cab give us a lot. Jaylin Williams can back up WCJ. Plus we get a 25 1st.

Only part I question is the ORL part.

I have plenty of doubts about the team but whether or not the Bucks are a true contender isn’t going go to be determined on the margins, its going to be health and how well core pieces namely Giannis & Dame fit together.

I know it's not fun having an offseason without trades and huge signings, but honestly what could Horst do differently..

Tier 1

Giannis - OK, not much to say. Just do everything it takes to retire him as a Buck.

Dame - Obviously you need to give him a full preseason to work with Giannis and then another season with proper coaching before having second thoughts.

Midds - Obviously health is a concern, but when healthy he is a max guy (played like one against Indiana) paid way less than that. You just roll with him and hope.

Tier 2

Lopez - Gives me Horford vibes. Al similarly had a 27 mil contract at age 36, resigned at 2/20 after that and became an NBA champion at age 38 providing 30ish minutes as a reliable starter. Brook rarely gets injured, his game is aging fine, there is no reason not to view him as a core piece for the next three years.

Bobby - There is a starting PF job for him in at least 10 NBA teams and could easily make 20ish money as a FA. Despite that he seems to love playing for Milwaukee with Giannis blocking his way in terms of minutes and money. What's not to love here? Most teams would kill for a 6th like Portis.

Tier 3

MarJon, Green, AJJ - Not exactly "blue chips" given their age (23-25 y/o) and limited NBA playing time. Those guys have only value to Milwaukee.

Tier 4

#23, #33 - Nobody liked this draft, that 2031 FRP is just too far, what could you buy? Horst did the right thing adding a couple of young athletic teenagers next to Livingston.

Tier 5

Pat - Holds no value, you may have to pay to unload his contract given that you are already over the 2nd apron.

At this this point I'm putting an A+ in this offseason if Horst manages to trade Pat for any min player, which will allow Bucks sign Trent Jr with the tax-MLE while avoiding the 2nd apron. Wright and Prince are solid vets for the minimum, I know nothing about Johnson and Smith but I like the direction behind those picks.

I can't wait until the start of the season, In the words of the great Mr. T " I pity the Fools". Ain't no way Giannis, Dame and Khris aren't taking this personal, they're going to murder people. Giannis is still THE ONE, and his other two costars aren't too shabby. I like the upgrades so far, hopefully more to come, but giannis has already succeeded with less

Eh he's got a ring and a couple kids now, that changes the hunger. I'm hoping Giannis and Dame only play 32/33mpg and Khris idk 20-25 whatever keeps his knee healthy and we still squeak out 50 wins. Hopefully this idiot team has learned that seeding means nothing compared to health. Honestly it's all pretty meaningless and just comes down to 3pt variance, god the NBA sucks now.

If the Bucks could still add Trent Jr…that would be a good cap off to the off-season.

Simmons seems like a pipe dream

Simmons contract would need Middleton to match.
And Portland would want Pick(s).
I don't think there are available assets, but if somehow they agree, I would do it just for the age and injury risk of Mids. But in a vacuum I think KM is the better player.

Haven’t seen any reports linking him to us, but I don’t think he and Lillard are a good pair, which is a big part of why it didn’t work in Portland. Definitely a good talent though. Feels like he might be a fit in Orlando.

Brook and Pat works too, but don’t really see why Portland would do that

Do you actually think this? Absolutely wild if you do.

Not only are there several past NBA players that prove your statement wrong, but Giannis hasn't done anything to suggest he's any different on the court than he was from Day 1.
