Queta
Peterson
Walsh
Scheierman
Springer

Is my best guess

Probably Queta, Walsh, Scheierman, Springer, Davison. Davison's the only point guard, and if he comes back it'll be with the support of the organization.

I really do hope it's the full force roster. That will be an entertaining team.

Curious to see if they start both JD and Springer since I’m guessing they want to get Springer some burn at the point.

6'7" sub 30% 3pt shooter.

As with Springer, I'm not up for any SGs who are bad at the 3.

Peterson will end up being the best player on the SL roster. I know everyone wants Walsh and Baylor, but Peterson IMO is the most complete player. His game is just like Jovic's on Miami.

Possible Queta + Walsh/Scheierman/Springer/Davison as the likely starters.

with Watson/Peterson/Enaruna/Demonia off the bench, thus far.

A mediocre under 37% from the 3 and 59% TS% in the g-league with below average on/off and +/-. At 6'9", though a bean-pole, out-rebounded by Walsh. Good assist man for his height. I suspect both rookies, Queta, and Davison all outshine him.

Meh, not too concerned about the 9th man on summer league team. He may be in for a cup of coffee, see if there's more potential shooting, worth a shot. Could be a favor to an agent to get him some exposure, etc.

Springer though, yeah, there is some concern, he should be trying to show his offensive game and I expect he'll get a lot of opportunity in SL.

This is where G League analytics mean zilch IMO. If they were the be all end all then Davison would be on a roster. I use the eye test for the g league.

But looking at those same stats for Davison, he's at sub 27% from 3 and 54% TS%.

IMO, Queta shouldn't play SL. He doesn't have anything to prove.

I was wondering if Stevens were pals with his college coach.

I think Queta's been working hard and some summer games are probably good for his continued development. I see him on the Hauser 2-way to playoffs contributor plan, so I'm glad to see him there despite his already having a 3-year deal.

And no, Peterson's mediocre g-league stats would keep him off a big-team roster, which has happened since he's back on a 2-way.

Queta will obviously get work in preseason, but I would want to get Queta some work passing from the low post and if he has any designs on shooting mid-range or 3's, a few more game-ish reps doing it won't hurt. As we're starting to conceptualize, the big man rotation while KP is out and during that time when Al has a rest day, gets a bit off-kilter with non-JT 4/5 pairings.

Shifting to Springer again, I won't barrage the thread with supportive posts on him, but, I was a staunch Tony Allen defender back in the day. Even in this era I think you can support one non-shooter for stretches if that guy is hyper active, aggressive, and self-aware. I'm particularly forgiving with a rim protector or defensive on-ball terror.

DeMarcus Demonia sounds like a character from a Hellblazer graphic novel...
How are we to know if this guy isn't the son of Satan or anything?

Just what I thought...

2 submissions from Germany and Philippines agree the name Demonia means "Female Demon" and is of English origin.

Glad if JD runs with them!

Looks like a promising squad — my wife will be totally exasperated!

I’m expecting to see Watson at the 5 rather than Queta. Or, if Queta plays, just for the token one or two first games, then takes the “too good for SL” now.

Seems like Springer's getting the most competition.

7"1.25" wingspan. Really stacking the team with strong defenders.
