why can't you just be happy that Kawhi helped you guys win a championship?

Die hard Clipper fans would love to experience a championship team even if the best player left the following season.

He likely would have left anyway even if the Clippers didn't recruit him.

unfortunately, it's not a logic problem - it's an issue for people at their cores where people utilize envy (attempts to destroy joy in others lives) to both temporarily and mistakenly cover for their own gaps in happiness.

hope the best for this fellow, and others like them. world would be better if they could find the right people to talk to.

Do you think kawhi plays in the Olympics. I know ppl would be apprehensive but it's 3 months from now and then once finished about 2 months from the regular season. I hope he is able to as he missed out last time because of injury. I'm not sure y he wasn't on the 2016 team. Probably an injury thing as well but that was one of his better seasons.

I mean I guess it would be a good sign? Obviously we don't want him to get hurt or wear down further, but it would be a nice sign that he's actually healthy enough to play.

I don't know what the total workload is over the course of an entire Olympic run. But if he were more of a rotation guy it might not be that bad? I don't know.

Selfishly I hope he does because it’s his last chance to be on the team. It’s also a good sign that he’s healthy to play.

It doesn’t hurt that the time off before and after is a good amount. Plus, his minutes/work load will be nothing like it is with the Clippers.

Not on topic, but I saw a tweet about Kawhi being a major stoner... I don't care too much about it as in its his personal decision and it's not banned. But I wonder if that's y Stephen A is so hard on him. Remember he used to be mr.stay off the weed. In another time, this was unacceptable in the NBA. I know many players smoke and it is far from taboo. But the apathy that ppl perceived that kawhi has towards the game, and him to be the person the front office has invested most into in the franchise is pretty interesting.

PG's priorities seem to be weed, podcasts, and picking up his check on the 1st and 15th. If he could turn as much coin talking about basketball instead of playing it, he'd be first in line.

And if they smoke now, they were probably smoking even before they came into the NBA.

Obviously hasn't prevented these two from reaching the highest levels, either titles for KL or all-NBA for PG. So I don't know about NBA stoners being apathetic.

Only athlete I could think of who prioritized grass too much over the sport might be Ricky Williams, who got suspended more than once by the NFL.

NBA used to also penalize positive marijuana test too or maybe I'm misremembering. Maybe the players association negotiated penalties out of the CBA.

I'm so not into Kawhi doing this instead of preparing for the season. He's stolen Ballmer's money as far as I'm concerned. Mr. I Only Care About The Playoffs has played only 28 playoff games for Ballmer in 5 years. It took 24 to win that ring in his single season in Toronto.

I've been a fan for 40 years and they're doing everything they can to lose me. Kawhi and Ballmer are a lousy team. Kawhi is the tail that wags the dog.

I hear u. I just don't like the quietness and the ambiguous nature of everything. Even in one article related to the workout he had was worded weird like, this was a private session with limited info. It's just basketball man, can he play or can't he. This doesn't need to be covered like a UN meeting among nations with fractured relations. Like I think fans should know more as they purchase the tickets. I don't even mind if they say he won't play back to backs or will only play 1 when it's like 3 in 4 days or something so long as they're upfront. I don't buy the competitive advantage stuff. I never blame him or pg for their injuries, I just wish they weren't covered so oddly.
