Honestly rather just run it back lol.
Ainge isnt letting go of Lauri for just that anyways.. hes going after 3-4 firsts..
Though the thought of having Ware, Bam, Lauri and Butler on the court at the same time.. thats a whole lot of length..
We started the small ball movement, and it got us two championships.. but after witnessing what teams like the nuggets and timberwolves have done .. this may be a sign of spoelstra evolving the heat to a new era

He’s going to Milwaukee with Herro for Dame after Pat lands Lauri.

Im not sure what teams are waiting on this isnt like past years where the league needed a domino to fall. There’s a number of quality players out there and somebody is inevitably going to sign here for less than they wanted..could be Caleb or somebody better.

how many years are left on Lauri's contract? everybody saying he is due for a max so isnt it kind of like DM's situation in cleveland? does he have to agree to an extension to the team about to gut its assets for him? i know he is a good player but he doesnt have those awards and mvps

He's got one year left at 18M
And he's a hockey fan. So instead of demanding South Beach it'll be Sunrise.

Only the Warriors have better trade odds at the moment. The sportsbooks underestimate The Godfather at their peril.

Very different circumstances here. Our distinguished emissary will seal the deal. The Godfather has played the long game to perfection.
Mike Vorkunov of The Athletic looked at Wade’s current role with the Jazz and noted that past conflicts between the Heat and Boston Celtics have not affected the relationship between Wade and Ainge.
“Wade said he has a good relationship with new CEO Danny Ainge even though they were on different sides of a fiery Heat-Celtics rivalry, which included several playoff series and an infamous beef between Ainge and Heat that included one angry letter,” wrote Vorkunov.
“That enmity never trickled down to Wade, however. Wade said Ainge has been gracious with him. He grabbed Wade out of Miami’s locker room during his final NBA season and surprised him with a piece of the Boston court he had played on. He considers himself lucky to learn from Ainge and [Pat] Riley during the course of his career.”

Bucks got 2 quality rotation players that's way more than the Heat got (not counting Ware since hes not a signing/traded for player) Prince/Wright (not sure why they let him go) would be huge upgrades on the Heat.
Perception is everything. If our summer consisted of bringing back Wright and signing Taurean freakin Prince the narrative around here would be we’re wasting another year of Jimmy but because another team did it its not so bad.
Adding Prince/Wright is a good when you have players like Giannis/Dame which Miami does not and yeah if those were the moves Miami made it would be terrible and they did even worse.

A bunch of you guys are deranged for change. Getting rid of Herro, Jovic and JJJ for LM would be absolute trash!!!
Bypassing desperate to deranged is correct. Heat fans going full tard again.

What if BOS had given up on Tatum or Brown after we repeatedly punked them in the playoffs?
Maybe we should give our young guys some time to grow together.
More the thinking of Heat org here. We value our young guys we drafted & have developed. We don't throw them away like trash for just anybody. We're simply not like the many average teams who would & nvr able to be successful.
This sleepy Pat stuff continues to be nonsense from spoilt, impatient fans who would turn this organisation to dirt if the keys were handed to their average minds.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Just imagine for one second that it was Ainge in charge right now instead of Sleepy Pat. What would Ainge do? He would trade Jimmy for a Gobert like haul. He would probably trade Bam as well as he too would command an insane haul. We are in PERFECT position to rebuild. What we are not, is in position to compete for a ring.
Its long been over. It’s time to hit up the lottery and land our next Wade. Our next 2 way SG/SF stud. Stop trying to fix this mess, Derozan isnt it, Lauri is overrated and will be highly overpaid soon. It’s time to suck a few seasons to have a chance at a brighter future.
East isn’t an open/shut contest.
If Mia were bolstered by a Lauri addition and managed to stay healthy come the post season, they’re every bit the contenders as anyone in the conference.
Absolutely!
Our biggest obstacle has always been our own health.....not opponents. Since Butler came on board w/ the mastermind of Spo i'm just not afraid of anybody!
These mother f*ckers don't wanna face us fully healthy!

I totally agree. We keep giving away picks and young talent. Just run it with what you have.

Jovic + Herro + filler + FRPs for Lauri + change? I would do. JJJ is the deal breaker, imo. Get Lauri here without giving up Jaime.
Rozier/JRich
JJJ/Pelle
Butler/Burks
Lauri/KLove
Bam/Ware
We drafted a center in hopes of bringing an undersized Bam to PF. On top of that, we now want to give away our young core for a PF? Really?

Lauri can easily play anything from SF-C
