Wizards LV Summer schedule below:

Friday, July 12 vs. Atlanta Hawks at 9:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)
Sunday, July 14 vs. Houston Rockets at 6 p.m. ET (ESPN2)
Tuesday, July 16 vs. Portland Trail Blazers at 8:30 p.m. ET (NBA TV)
Thursday, July 18 vs. Sacramento Kings at 7 p.m. ET (ESPN)

I’m old and can’t remember but didn’t summer league training camp used to start a week before the team flew to Vegas? If they fly out July 11, I’m guessing training camp starts July 5.

Anyone know who has been invited to training camp besides the players listed above? For example T Vukevic, what’s holding up his contract?

It already 7/3 & I feel like I’m missing something.

I'm a little surprised they're throwing Bilal out there. I'll bet they play him a game and sit him the rest of the time. Practice with the others to get them used to playing together...

IIRC most rosters aren't finalized until around July 5, so there's still time. I'd guess we'll bring on some Go Go players and maybe some guys with local ties.

ClutchPoints doesn't know ****. lol

Bilal is probably going to the Olympics, so I wouldn't bet on him being on the team.

We need some bodies, we have the fewest players for SL so-far.

Geez, take your time. We have a week to put together a roster, which I imagine will be crappy outside of Saar, Carrington and George.

:noway: Ernie is that you because this is the Wizard poverty mindset. The post-draft scramble is to snatch up the best of the undrafted for your SL team or even sign outright to a two-way like what Boston just did, yes, eventually we will fill the rest of the SL roster with whoever is the last of the leftovers.

California Classics players watch list.

Three lottery picks from the 2024 Draft — San Antonio’s Stephon Castle (taken No. 4), Charlotte’s Tidjane Salaun (No. 6) and Sacramento’s Devin Carter (No. 13) — will probably see some NBA competition at the California Classic.

Notable rookies you may want to watch:
* Heat: Kel’el Ware (15), Pelle Larsson (44)
* Hornets: Salaun, KJ Simpson (42)
* Kings: Carter
* Lakers: Dalton Knecht (17), James
* Spurs: Castle, Harrison Ingram (48); Juan Nunez (36) will not play in Summer League as he is with the Spanish National Team
* Warriors: Quinten Post (52)

And I think Bronnie may play in the opening game.

I’m bummed about Nunez not playing but I wonder if someone knows how to get the Spanish National Team games? Can’t explain why but I really wanted to see this kid.

I think KJ Simpson will show out. And the Bronny to Knecht connection will look good.

Was going to go off on Castle after seeing the Spurs scored 9 points in the 1st quarter and 65 in the game last night until I saw he mostly played off-the-ball as a SG. Looked like he did ok. Handle was really good ... hit 2 3s ... 12 pts on 12 shots. Not terrible for a 1st game. Reminded me alot of his HS tape.

This list is just what's publicly known. Hard to imagine there are only four players on the squad at this point. I do find it odd that more names haven't been announced, though.

This guy needs an NBA contract. Why? Because his name is Adonis Arms.

It's not much, but it looks like John Butler Jr. is confirmed for the SL team.
