How much are we worried about BIID, MAXEY & PG if they stay healthy - especially W/O Zinger until 1/2025

Goose egg, at the most, 0%.

The Regular Season is what it is.
They wont beat us in the Post-Season.

Nothing to see here.

No one in their right mind would put Paul George over Jaylen Brown after what we just witnessed.

yeah PG13 in his prime was definitely better than Jaylen but right now? no way.

PG13 is more than capable of putting up FMVP numbers aka 20 ppg on 53 TS%. It got the job done but frankly mid as hell. Tatum being even worse in the finals was Jaylen's greatest accomplishment.

I still need a through detailed explanation of how Dallas was good on defense with the roster they had.

The narrative during the entire finals was how Luka is getting blown by all the time and their rim protectors were pulled way out yet the two guys who were doing the blowing by put up historically bad numbers.

But he didn’t, he got bounced in the first round.

Are we at the stage where we pretend team success instantly lifts anyone on said team above everyone who didn't win? I guess Jaylen Brown is better than Giannis, Embiid, Doncic, Jokic? Embarrassing almost, some of the things you guys carelessly post.

Are you saying Paul George is as good as the four you mentioned? Because he’s on his fourth team now and he’s been a disappointment in his three prior destinations

He's not a top 10 player and he's old, but he's still an elite 2-way player. The Sixers are a real threat because of him. I think we are still better if we are also healthy but it'll be a tough series if we play them.

No team Paul George has been on has ever been a real threat.

Philly has indeed improved their talent and "On paper" look to be trouble. But Embiid does Not make his teammates better. he just is to ball dominant. And while many Love Maxey's scoring abilities, just don't know how a shoot first PG + Embiid gel that Unit together.

But with everything said, Boston does have a very fragile KP to deal with and should KP be out in a series against Philly, I certainly think Philly could win. I take Nothing for granted.

1986 Boston won with what might be the BEST team ever and was set to add one of college basketball's greatest talent via Draft. That team never won again. 2008 KG's team also never won again, mainly due to injuries.

we better hope X-man-Kornet-Queta can get the Job done as KP's replacement if that happens. that and Al holding up another year.

It’s gonna be fun! The stronger the opponents, the better.

This Celtics team is built for the regular season. I would be highly surprised if anyone were to leapfrog them in terms of seeding. Philadelphia will likely have a nice stretch during the regular season where they win a lot of games, but with Embiid and PG, it’s more than likely they will also have a stretch of mediocre ball due to a top-heavy lineup and injuries.

HOrFord has always done a great job holding his own against Embiid, and the Celtics scheme is fairly strong against the big man. I feel like they can’t handle our pace, minus Maxey. And by the time the playoffs roll around, I would be very surprised they are at 100% health. If they are, it’s likely we wouldn’t see them until the conference finals.

Typically, talent wins. While you could argue that Embiid is the best player on either team, the second and third best players are Tatum and Brown. Both of those guys work hard in the off-season to get better and are entering their prime. Plus White is severely underrated. And we all know playoffs Jrur is a different beast. If Hauser can continue to build his confidence and if one of the reserve bigs can take a big leap, I don’t see Philadelphia being much of a concern.

I kinda hate the idea of Sixers fans seeing this thread and feeling happy with themselves lol.

Martin is a solid player for sure and has definitely caused us problems. If he were a Celtic though he’d be maybe 7th in the rotation? In Philly he’s probably 4th. They’ve done well to rebuild on the fly, but I’m holding judgment and praise both until we see what a final roster looks like because currently it’s a bit shallow and limited.
