Ishbia came in to owning the Suns thinking he could just throw cash/assets around in the old star phucking fashion to try and instabuild a title contender but the league kinda did him dirty, too, by implementing all these Draconian cap rules almost immediately after he got himself into this mess.

Although, we as Knicks fans shouldn't be surprised at the woeful strategy that was used because his most cherished and closest basketball confidant is none other than the one and only Isiah Thomas whose machinations tortured us fans for years even after he left.

Wasn’t we all making fun of them the second they said Isiah was the secret GM? Lowkey the KD trade for cam Johnson and Mikal stinks of Steve Francis for Ariza. He didn’t learn anything from his failures in NYC.

While I think that it's hilarious that Phoenix did this to themselves, these cap rules are absurd.

Funny thing is, the Suns were the first team to rip us off under Thomas. He kept saying we'd be Phoenix East.

Miles Bridges got 25m per over 3 from the Hornets. I guess beating your children's mother shaves about 25mil off of his price tag per year

You bring it up on the GB and half the comments are "why do you want to destroy a guy's life over one tiny mistake? Think of her and their children, the more he makes, the more they'll get!"

Gross.

People make mistakes, sure. We all have done or said stuff at one point of our lives that we wish we could take back.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miles_Bridges

According to Johnson's hospital report which she posted to Instagram, she was an "adult victim of abuse by male partner" which included assault by strangulation, brain concussion, closed fracture of nasal bone, contusion of rib, multiple bruises, and a neck muscle strain.

^That's not a tiny mistake. That's a serious beating he put on the mother of his children. You or I would be in prison right now if we did that to anyone, nevermind a woman. Dude also got charged with 2 felony counts of child abuse. Where is the red line here?

What's the difference between Miles Bridges and Jontay Porter, I wonder?

She should get more than half after what he did to her.

Guys like Porter feel like they're big bad men because they can choose soft targets to beat up. Getting shot would be too good for him.

We had to release him since he was still under contract. Couldn't we at lest have gotten a second rounder for the trouble?
