All I hear is excuse after excuse for the FO, he brought up the issue on Strus, people would say it's the same thing as Duncan... no it wouldn't, STRUS PUSHED ROBINSON TO THE BENCH, STRUS IS CURRENTLY YOUNGER, CONTRIBUTING MORE WHEN YOU CONSIDER DEFENSE AND SADLY, GETTING PAID LESS TO DO A BETTER JOB FOR CLEVELAND THAN ROBINSON IS DOING FOR MIAMI, hell, Strus played the 2-4 for Miami.

GD am I getting tired of all the reporters covering up for the FO so they can maintain their relationships to keep putting out stories that put the FO in better light than they should be.

Ask yourselves one big question, and be honest, if Butler doesn't force his way to Miami, does Miami ever have the roster to get past the 1st round in the past 5 years. Remember... you still had Whiteside, you probably would have ride and died with Winslow, Bam and Herro probably stay about the same.

I use to like 5 reasons, but year after year they just take up for the FO, Ethan talks about how they can't make any moves... WHO PUT THEM IN THAT SITUATION?

It went from enjoying this franchise with some insights from local reporters to just being angry at things they say.

I listened to the same podcast and did not hear excuse after excuse for the FO, I did hear an objective view of the Caleb negotiations however -- and that's their job, to report with objectivity. Some of you guys want the local reporters to be emotional and go on tirades over spilled milk like we see on tweets and message boards but they just aren't going to do that.

Let Miles Bridges be a lesson. If you ever want to beat the fuxk out of your girl just do it, everyone will be mad at you at first but they’ll get over it

Need to keep roster spot open for Keshad. He’s going to be our defensive beast

For sure. I see a strong role player type with Keshad. He and Pelle can replace HS and Martin in my eyes. Play them during the RS and hope for the best.

This is the only thing that should matter here, Martin was a nobody when we got him, he had some moments one year in the playoffs, and still we were offering this guy such contract? Let me tell you the future of our franchise is very very cloudy with a chance of permanent suffering they way it looks.

Its obvious he is only for the revenue after the big 3 years. Every year is the same bull s hit and trying to save money. Well, newsflash if you dont pay you dont get to enjoy the honey.

Now people arguing over paying role players? :nonono:

If Caleb got that $65M/5yr deal people would be crying about over paying.

I couldn't imagine the level of whining if they actually tanked for 4 years.

Stop trying to sign "our guys". Those dudes are all replaceable. We end up signing some average level dudes for career high contracts. We have no money to go after FA because weve spent it on the DRobs of the league who cant even hold down a roster spot.

Would have been pissed if we had given Martin that contract just being real about it, glad he turned it down.

It's a little more tricky. 12 mil is MLE money. The front office probably doesn't feel comfortable we have a replacement for him, knows we are a play in team and every little step back might cost us a shot at the playoffs.

The bigger issue is how our strength becomes out weakness. We have the ability to up to now find players off the streets, mold them into what we want and succeed. But for the system to work, you need a carrot, you need to pay them. If we wont pay these players, why should they listen to what we ask them to do, they will go into selfish mode, try to score, not care about defense to get that paycheck. Basically our whole house falls like a deck of cards. Thats the key issue here. In order for the system we have to work, we need to at the end of the day pay up. We paid Duncan and Max, Caleb, Vincent, Herro all fell in line and did what we wanted. We paid Herro and again Max, Caleb, Vincent fell in line and did what we asked of them, no questions asked.

I gotta stop reading this forum. lol.

I was reading the forum while I was waiting for lunch. When I went to pay I just stopped reading and reached into my wallet to grab a $100 bill to pay for lunch and immediately kept scrolling. When she gave me the change, I completely forgot that I paid with a $100 bill and thinking I paid with a $20, I just put it straight into the tip cup. I also added an additional $10 I had so the tip would be about $15 for a $16 meal.

I got half a mile down the road and had a panic attack when I realized what I did. I decided that the shame of having to go beg for my money back would be worse than just losing the money.

So I paid $96 for 10 boneless wings and fries…and the Heat still suck.

So he is paying the tax and we still have a sh itty team, then who is to blame? The front office? But on the other hand do you really think Micky doesnt have a saying on his money being spent? All the moves after the big 3 have been either horrible contracts or money saving moves. By paying the tax doesnt really mean he is not saving money. In my opinion he is just getting a mediocre team so he can put butts in the arena and keep on making money, either that or he really needs to replace his front office completely.

That’s how Micky feels paying the tax for this team

This is essentially how Pat Riley ended up giving Duncan Robinson that bloated contract.
