I came in here to say sorry to Daryl for same reason.

Real talk this roster is better and more youthful and more athletic and interchangeable than anyone he's put together since he got here.

On Joel Embiid to deliver now and Nick to do much better than he did last year with the role players

- Tobias Harris and Al Horford contracts
- Ben Simmons losing his mind
- Owners wanting to reset the repeater tax
- Doc Rivers

Not saying Morey had no blame for the last few years, but I think a lot of the frustration with him can be in large part tied back to dealing with the above, which he inherited and/or had limited to no control over, and I don't think it's a coincidence that now that all of those things are done people are happier with what he's doing.

I've often said that Morey's biggest mistake was not schiitcanning Glenn after the Atlanta series, but it's very likely that it was the owners not wanting to pay him for four years.
