I want to see Isaiah Stevens run point. I guess they had him play the two because of Williams and Pullin.

Williams needs to up his point guard IQ and vision. He is not a natural point. He cant abandon his scoring mentality completely trying to prove he is a point.

I take it Dru Smith was not ready to go? I think he showed enough last year to at least warrant time with this collection of talent in summer league

Pullin was up and down. Want to see him improve, but he flashed some potential

Johnson and Larsson showed a lot. They both IQ wise is not struggling. Good good sign that they will be ready to contribute this year if they continue to improve

Holy ****, I forgot there was a summer league game and I turned it on late in the 4th (like a minute left) and Miami's down by 40 after a center went coast to coast on them.

If nothing else, it’ll be an interesting season observing fans react to the team incorporating a Whiteside clone into their schemes.

Didnt realize Larsson went 2 for 7 at the free throw line. Otherwise he played well. Loved how aggressive he played and drew fouls.

I'm not gonna overreact to one game and there's a lot to like, but is it just me or does he look much clumsier than the highlight reels would've had you believe?

He is not fundamentally sound. Its all raw talent and he needs to hit the weights. He needs to be coached up

Agree he could stand to get stronger but I don't think it's a huge issue. He's not rail-thin like Chit Holmgren or someone like that.

Heat may need to narrow down his responsibilities. Focus on being big and work on his fundamental all summer. Don't try to be Kevin Durant out there

Yeah IDK if that's his game though... I've heard a lot of Lively comparisons but he seems like a totally different type of player than Lively.

Whiteside clone?

Rim protector, rebounder, functional screen setter who can run occasional PNR.

Likely to get lost on D when pulled away from the paint and will make his share of mistakes setting moving screens and when having to put the ball down on the floor.

Also will get outmuscled by stronger bigs,
