Franz Wagner has been the second option for thr Magic since being drafted. He's had the team's support for three years and both parties are benefiting.

Once he improves his three point shooting he probably ends up being an all-star and capitalized by becoming an all nba talent.

It's going to be a rough season for Golden State unless they acquire Lauri or someone of his caliber. Coach Jerry and Tery will be solid additions.

You think the Warriors will be noticeably worse due to the departure of Klay Thompson?

Yes, and because they haven't done anything else, except for adding Buddy. I don't expect the Warriors to make the playoffs.

Stephen Curry: 'I wish it would have gone differently, in the sense of whatever Klay needed from the Warriors to not feel disrespected'

Stephen Curry: Klay turned (the extension) down, and, you know, we ended up here. I wish it would have gone differently, in the sense of whatever Klay needed (from the Warriors) to not feel disrespected. I can’t answer that, because that’s a Klay thing to talk about. I wish that’s how it would have gone down. But I also know that because he needed a fresh start, things were kind of looked at a little differently. And that was kind of the throughline of this whole last season. It’s a two-way street on that front. I think that’s why Klay was so adamant that I not get involved, because whatever outcome he wanted, he wanted to make sure it was a kind of a pure process. And at the end of the day, we all have to make decisions that are in the best interest of yourself. I’ll do that at times when it’s what’s right for me.

No, part of their issue was the rookie was playing better but out of respect Thompson was geting minutes he didn't deserve. Post injury he's been IMO a noticeable drag on the Warriors.

I think it will be addition by subtraction.

Does Curry not have the weight to go to bat for Klay ?.

I think it's telling he let the franchise do what they thought best. Reads more like curtesy than regret.

Nah, he's far too focused on protecting Dray.

Klay said he specifically asked Curry not to do that, he wanted the organization to do right by him on their own without Step's influence.

Kevin Durant 28,924 career points and currently ranks 10th all-time. He said this week that he intends to play until the wheels fall off.

I expect him to end up 2nd all-time.

I'm in agreement, here. I think most older contenders out West would benefit from dumping the older, injury prone, decaying, high priced players and fill out a competitive team with younger, lower cost players.

Golden State has reloaded solidly and I expect a them to approach 50 wins this season...

I feel bad for Klay but it's ultimately business. If he was still peak Klay, they not letting him go.

If I'm not mistaken GS is a high paying tax team & they currently struggling to make the PO's.

Warriors would be insane to pay that for a player on an expiring contract who has never even made the playoffs.

In 7 seasons!!!

I look forward to seeing if the Cavs allow Caris LeVert to have the third most field goal attempts again. With a new coach I would assume he won't.

42% from the field, 32% from three.
