I don’t think any of those Kings players had NBA experience.

Adonis Arms had 32/11/5, is 26 years old, never played an NBA game and just made Bronny look like a kid off the streets. Guess who has an NBA contract?

Bronny just needs reps. Once he’s the starting lead guard for the lakers he can really show his stuff

I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not.

You’re usually a very good/logical poster, so I have a tough time believing that you actually believe this…but also don’t know you to be a super sarcastic poster either, so I’m confused haha.

Not GSW fan, but would be happy to derail the thread to finally talk about real basketball players:)

Judging by the highlights, he is a homeless man's Şengün, and at worst might be a 12th man and a good training body

I really think hes good, I didnt even know who he was last year. Looked like random Israeli on Maccabi team, and they have Josh Nebo, one of the best centers in Europe. But then war started, and some Americans were out for a while and this guy looked impressive when given a chance, had some of the best posters and blocks of whole Euroleague season. I think Maccabi for sure had the most athletic center lineup with him and Nebo of course, not many players more athletic than Nebo even in the NBA, but as for Sorkin, i think he can play in the NBA. I have no clue what his comp would be, on good team like Maccabi, he is essentially just lob and pick and roll finisher plus rim protector, but he shown he can run with the ball, drive, make post moves and floaters and shoot the 3. He gives me Hartenstein energy, maybe some Okongwu as well.

Josh Selby once looked as good as rookie Damian Lillard during summer league too…and only would play 10 more games in his career. But at least he got some work overseas.

Bronny isn’t even a poor man’s Josh Selby at this point.

That’s not true at all. Maybe he trolls some and I’ve just missed it, but there are definitely people who only exist on this board to troll/push buttons, and he isn’t like that haha.

Wouldn't you agree that "LeBryan Nash" came directly from a NBA 2K Name Generator?

For comparison, Peyton Watson averaged 8 ppg and 5 rpg in summer league.

Charles Lee has the potential to be an absolutely stellar coach. Dude had summer league scrubs looking more engaged and organized than I've seen our main team look in years. guy just has an energy around him that you'll never from a Steve Clifford or James Borrego

Was looking into going to Vegas for a few days? All I see are $300 per day GA packages with included parties etc..

What happened to summer league being cheap to just watch some basketball?

These types of posts are just so stupid. "He could have a great career if he was as good as another player" WHEN HE'S NOT. Conley absolutely dwarfs Bronny. WTF does "fancy" even mean?

lol

The man is undersized and doesn’t fit as a wing, like many fans want him to be. I used Conley as a comparison of a very, very good player who ran the team without caring about the spotlight or being interviewed every night on Sportscenter. Does he have the same talent? Obviously not at this juncture. But he should try to at least model his game after a true point guard like him. That’s what I meant by fancy but of course you must be one of those die hard fans that can’t accept anyone else’s opinion without going into a blind rage; and that’s stupid.

Never heard that before, thats even weirder than having China... NBA will sleep with a devil, just to have more money, it is pretty sad, especially from a league that is allegedly so pro social justice, human rights etc.

?

What are you talking about? It’s pretty common in baseball to have split squads. They probably just want to get more runs in for more dudes. I don’t think it’s a revenue thing bro

Well, ok, how common is to have split squads in the NBA? That's what I speak off, what does Baseball have to do with this? I cant recall franchise gaving 2 squads like that, maybe I don't remember sonething?

When there was an NBA summer league in Orlando, the Magic always had multiple squads. I think when it's not the main league in Vegas, the host team needs multiple squads to fill out the schedule.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

Summer league means little in the evaluation either way historically. The takeaways should be do you have the physical/skill ability to get off some semblance of a shot (whether it goes in is immaterial) & are you freakishly big + mobile even here (Gobert).

The players I'm most interested in gauging from here are Edey (see if he's like Gobert) & Sheppard (see if he has trouble getting off his shot). Our guy AJ Johnson I'm interested to see if he can be physical enough against older, stronger players.

Ware hasn't impressed. Needs a full year of Heat culture to get him going.

Bronny is out today with “trace swelling in his left knee.”

Just a summer league game but wonder if this will be a theme this summer. Eventually he is gonna have to get a ton of reps
