Our championship window is 3 years at the max. Realistically it is 2 years with 1 year being the year with the best chance. This is with Giannis, Khris and Dame.

If year 1 ( This year) is the best option with the ages of the big 3, losing Brook seems like a bad idea to me. A big 4 with a strong poa defender as sg is the optimal combination I feel for this crucial year.

Of course we need all of the big 3 to avoid injuries & again year 1 has the best probability for that.

We have a lot of young potentially good players for the future but for our window, year 1 is the most attractive one.

You're missing that he's a decent defender, who's had success against a few stars at pg already, & so at the very least he's a better option than Jackson who's being suggested to start next to Dame.

I'd explore trades for an upgrade exhaustively, but if a feasible one can't be found (which I think it should be), then I'm satisfied w/ trying out in-house options before the deadline, w/ the 1st being Green.

He said on his pod at the end of the season that he believes he deserves a raise on a new contract. Salary dumping to overpay for Bev would definitely be something I could see us doing

Keldon Johnson would be one of the better plays to try to find a star from a change of scenery. He's a talented guy, w/ strong production, & physical tools. One of the knocks is d. Is that just cuz he's on losing teams?

That said, we're just about the worst fit for him. We could use Brook or even Bobby more than him for now. He's not going to slot in at the 2 & d up backcourts. Right now he's not a big wing defender.

I think you'd have to deal Middleton instead, & make a big roster revamp for it to make any sense. Get Keldon Johnson, Moody, & a 1st, or something to that effect. And I don't think I'm for that. Hurts contendership w/ future still a question.

Keon Ellis + Trey Lyles + Alex Len works under the cap for Bobby + MarJon.

Not saying I’d do it if I were Sacramento. But I wouldn’t have done the DeMar deal either.

Bucks could include AJ Green or picks instead of MarJon if required. Suspect the Kings are pitching Heurter and we aren’t interested.

BroLo could be on their radar too. Seems like Keegan Murray will be doing a lot more small ball 4 now.

Having a great big defender off the bench who can also play alongside Sabonis (depending on match ups) might be that much more attractive following them acquiring another expensive wing who doesn’t play defense.

I'm not falling for it but I will say this is the best his release has looked since he was a teenager.

Okay, I'm falling for it a little bit.

It's the most obvious thing ever to watch and he's one of those dudes who did unconventional school/went to like 6 high schools and guys who go that route NEVER EVER are smart enough to become role players. Maybe they have enough talent and physical ability to become a low impact "star" eventually, but the fake/dumb school path players never are going to become a role player just based on them being too stupid to handle the reality of normal school and growing up in the beyond easy existence of being a phenom basketball star.

I'm not a Marjon guy, but I think he was put in some tough circumstances that were beyond his control as a kid/teenager. I'm sure if he could have gone to one school his whole life he'd choose that route.

But yeah, not a big fan of his game as an NBA player.

How desperate are the Pelicans to move Ingram? They both want veteran floor spacing, rim protecting center, and have shown interest in Kevin Heurter. The deal

Kings get: Portis, Patty C
Pelicans get: Lopez, Heurter
Bucks get: Ingram

Legal deal as the Bucks are now under the 2nd apron. Bucks now use Ingram as the trade chip to fill our needs.

I like Green as a defender one on one but some of his skills maybe due to the opponent not taking him seriously as a defender so they are not as focused as they should be. That may always be the case unless he becomes a Caruso type defender. The problem with Green is that he got lost weak side at times similar to how he would have no idea what spot to be in on offense at times. He is a young player so that will happen and if he was developed right we would have more of an idea of what the Bucks have. You can say the same about AJax and Marjon.

If the roster stays the same then the 2 guard spot should be shared to start the season by Green and Jackson. In camp they should alternate 1st and 2nd string duties and guard Lillard while on 2nd string

I'd rather move Bobby and keep Brook, how much bench scoring do you need with Dame/GA/Khris? One of them will always be on the court in the playoffs. Brook can still be useful for 20 mins a night. Is Bobby really helping us or hurting us? He kills offensive flow and is diabolical defensively, albeit a great rebounder. We'd get more use from a defensive stopper who can also rebound. He is on a team friendly contract and has high value right now, I'd move him this offseason and listen to calls on Brook. Cashing in on Bobby rn has to be a priority

I told a lot of people I deserve a raise and didn't get one. Then again I don't have a pod nor harass people at my place of business to support my pod nor whip a ball at a customers head...

I’d just keep Ingram and use the TPMLE and a vet min. to fill out the roster.

Bev/Wright is a pretty sweet defensive pairing and they can both run an offense, I wouldn’t hate it. But hopefully just on another 1 year deal.

This is where I'm at. I just don't see the fit. Our best options are NOP and HOU.

Don't see it with Houston either. Sengun is one of the best centers in the league now and he'll play mid-30s every night. Backing him up is Adams, who is expected to be ready by training camp.

They're out too.

Still a lot of movement. Someone should look him in a room and just have him watch KAT shooting threes all day.

Thinking more Bobby for them since they suck on offense. Or, ya know, Middleton...

Clippers, Warriors, Kings and Pelicans are main teams I see with needs for a big and excess wings.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
