Actually i wonder how is it possible that Lithuania is basket crazy and always good, Latvia likes basket and has a midtier decent team that every now and then produces players but Estonia is nothing.

Congrats to Brazil, well deserved. They'll play in group B with France, Germany and Japan and will have a good chance to qualify for the quarters.

You forgot Martin Müürsepp and Henri Drell

Out of these 3, Lithuania is biggest and most basketball crazy and Estonia is smallest and sanest.

Germany matches up pretty well with Brazil's bigs, while Franz, Schröder, Lo, Obst are better than what Brazil can put out there at the perimeter positions. Brazil advancing would definitely be a surprise.

Croatia Greece is looking as expected. They've kept Giannis below 50% shooting so far. Not easy to get in the paint. However, Greece has been excellent from deep.

The 2 best 3rd out of the 3 groups also advance, and Brazil can beat Japan.

Estonia is Balric country by title, but they are pretty much Scandinavians, but smaller, Basketballl is not much of a thing there.

Are Juancho/Nuñez injured or are they just not good enough to crack the rotation?

Papagiannis 4/5 for 3pt, Croatia is playing well, just a bit relaxed towards the end of the 1st half. Let's see it

Few nations still holding the front. Serbia as well. Of course we can debate legitimacy of these players, that Finnish guy does not count as naturalized player, he is Finnish, but is he, he is definitely an American. Lithiania are very strongly against naturalized players, they do not even consider a foreign coach for some reason. but Buzelis will play for them, and while he will not count as naturalized player, a lot of people say he is as American as Lorenzo Brown. I mean, he is, but he is far more Lithuanian than Brown is Spanish tho.

Always hated this naturalized player thing, but we could live with it, because at first, only small teams did that. But when Spain does it, and do not even see the problem in it, its just pathetic imo. I think I would just not cheer for my team anymore, if they did that.

Spain had Johny rogers or Mike Smith playing for them 30 years ago.ç
Is not new.

It only bothers people because they WOn.

( wich they already had done with no naturalized players, so i dont see the point of the hate).

Well, then you clearly don't get it. They were dominant team on their own YET STILL added naturalized superstar to the mix. That is exactly the most ridiculous problem. Every naturalization bothers fans, but of course it bothered more that they won. Euro freaking champs, dragged by the ears by great European Lorenzon Brown... It is like KD titles, you won it, but fans do not really respect it.

Exactly my thoughts. These kind of merc championships mean nothing to me, but I can respect any country winning on their own, and If not winning, then just for trying on their own.
