I’ll pack his bags myself. 2024 version of Rodney McGruder that this base hypes up as more than what he is.

Teams obviously see his value as an elite defender and good shooter…..

Exactly. We can replace him. A guy will be available every year like that.

This is the same guy who gave Highsmith his interview prior to the end of the season. He is just inflating HH cost, hoping to squeeze the most out of the Heat as possible.

If we resign him he’ll immediately slot in as the backup PF again and lord help us when Spo is running out Kevin Love at C with Haywood at the 4 again.

Feels like the same tactic that was being used by the Martin camp.

I'm not a Heat fan, but I clearly remember Orlando Robinson tearing up last year's summer league. Summer awesomeness doesn't always translate I guess. He should be able to get another chance somewhere.

Many times we see the best and worst out of prospects in the SL. Its so disjointed and becomes a free for all without good bball being played. I put minimal stock in it.

Personally if it wasnt Paul George I do not care for adding a swing player. I am very high on Jaquez, looking for him to compete and win the starting position next to Butler. I think Jaquez has the potential to be a 18-4-5 guy next season.

Summer League is practice. Its basically extending camp. The goal is to see improvement especially in the players the team have invested in

An addition of Tyus Jones or Gary Trent Jr would be solid.

If he is putting up numbers close to that by the end of his rookie deal, expect him to get a full max contract.
