Swider is currently on a Heat 2 way QO. If he signs it the Heat have to release Dru Smith again. Heat can match any offer to Swider as he’s restricted. They can give him a standard contract starting at 2.1 million.

I wonder if there is any way to possibly get Tyrus Jones. His 7.3 Ast to 1.0 TO per game and 41% 3pt shooting on 3.9 attempts would be a nice addition to the offense. Combine that with somehow dumping Herro and moving Terry to 6th man and I'd say that would move the needle a bit.

We def could use a high efficiency lead guard. Thats the next box we need to check. Need some more roster movement though to free up space and money.

The problem is that Tyus plays on a team w Jordan Poole
EDIT: Just realized he's a FA. Why have we not reached out?!?!?!

Rozier is going to be the starting point guard and Herro most likely will be in the 6th man role. They aren’t going to dump Herro, and there isnt a FA pg out there that they are going to bring in and start over Rozier. Money talks.

1. How are we getting a top 5 pick
2. How is Jovic playing the 3?

Yeah it would have to be another 3 team deal or 2 separate ones. Our hands are really tied unfortunately, tough spot to be in...

I just think the fit would be better. If money talks how can Herro be 6th man? Rozier seems like he'd be more willing to take on the 6th man role than Herro. And Jones is more of a true 1 who could run the offense best as a table setter. Then Rozier can come in and be the gunner that he really is.

Weve got to move Butler and then get lotto lucky. Its my fantasy. Let me enjoy it;)
As for Jovic, hes our Danilo, who was listed as a SF the majority of his career. Its not that big of a stretch is it?

You know... that's kinda interesting
Jones/Rozier/JRich/Pullin (2W)
Herro/Duncan/Burks/Larsson
Jimmy/Jaime/Swider
Jovic/Love/Keshad (2W)
Bam/Ware/Bryant
im still a fan of trading Herro but thats a damn balanced 1st and 2nd team

I’m all in on Tyus
Duncan and Niko gets its done but is an overpay.
Therefore Mia should also offer Rozier and make an appeal for Kuzma
Two separate transactions per sign n trade rules

Its easy to justify Herro as 6th man because Rozier is the only pg on the roster and the duo just isnt ideal defensively to start.

On the surface yes, but he's not going to like it where as Terry is happy to be here and at 30 would be more willing to do it imo. Herro's young and after winning 6th man has said he wants to start and thinks he'd be an all star if starting. He even admitted to not really liking coming out early when him and Rozier were starting together this year. I just think Terry is better and would rather him in that role if we have another PG like Tyrus which is what my hypothetical was about.
