I think it's a good thing honestly. If we get more countries picking up the sport that opens up the talent pool. I would love to see someone from the sumo scene try out to become a lineman

This is how discussions between the Giants and Panthers began for the Burns trade

I'm kind of in awe of how casual this is

"Yo you want Burns for two ones?"

"Oooooh. No, but you're headed in the right direction"

This is like negotiating in BaF

Enjoyed Hard Knocks! Knew they weren't looking to pay Saquon $12M and it was the right decision.

However, I was a little surprised of Schoen's support of Jones.

So the Giants agreed to Hark Knocks but they had final say of what was released. I wonder how much of the QB scouting was taken out now that the Giants are committed to Jones for another year. But I buy it...he is making starters money and they can't get rid of him this year so might as well build up his weapons and offensive line to give him a shot at regaining his good year the year before last.

Also Mara seems difficult to work for...he was pressing Schoen so much on Saquon to the point he said ideally we bring him back and said if we don't we would need to use a top draft pick on a running back...talk about a guy that isn't with the times.

Its nice to see Schoen has full autonomy though because if Mara was running the ship Barkley clearly would be back.

They are obviously playing some things up for the camera. They can’t be caught saying stuff like “DJ sucks…can’t wait until he’s gone”

agreed, can't be saying that when he is likely to be the starter and they can't do anything with his cap situation THIS year.

But he did say he basically had no chance last year (with the offensive line) which is fairly accurate. Specifically mentioned the Dolphins game where they were playing with 2 practice squad players and they had no chance.

It also sounded like if he doesn't play well this year he's likely gone. He didn't say exactly that but it seemed inferred. He got him a #1 WR and hopefully they improved the offensive line.

It was a bad situation but we can't totally excuse his play. Tommy DeVito and Tyrod both looked better still. It was awful especially if we are paying him to be a top 10 type qb

they did, but they were with completely different offensive lines. They at least had Andrew Thomas who is an all-pro LT. Don't get me wrong I'm not excusing the season he had but he played 6 games last year. Andrew Thomas only started 2 of those 6 (and one of them was the Dallas game where he only played on the first drive) the other game was the Las Vegas game where Jones tore his ACL in the 1st half.

The time to pressure for the QB's was completely different.

Again its sink or swim time. His contract becomes moveable after this season and we really don't have a better option this year with us going BPA and not going the draft QB route.

Just gotta hope for the best.

There's nothing wrong with having fun at a strip club.

As far as we know, he got home safely last night, and didn't commit multiple felony crimes. So I think it'll be alright.
