Teams won't make it easy to get under the apron. We can trade 2031 first (no way) and we have no seconds until 2031 as well. To blast Horst for not yet getting under the apron is myopic.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

But Bobby seems like he can go.

Sacramento trades Lyles and Ellis, Milwaukee trades Portis. Works.

I agree Bobby is expendable since we signed Prince to back up Giannis/Midds. But we need to receive a starting SG in any deal he's involved in. Ellis would be a good option as he can shoot and plays decent defense.

Ellis.

For some reason my last sentence about Ellis didn't post. I have added it to my original post.

Internally, I think they're saying we improved our perimeter defense in the starting lineup (Wright), added a versatile forward who can hit shots to the second unit and we think our young guys are pretty good. It's a rosie standpoint to take but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the roster opening night.

Have a hard time believing that horst signed wright to be our starting 2 when ge technically not a 2 guard at all.Every comment i have heartd on tv or the radio say hes not a starter but more of a fill in type of guy like spot start n bu dame.Cant see horst being content with the state of iur 2 guard position

Do we think the Kings would want Brook?

I like the idea of getting Lyles

Brook/MarJon for Lyles/Huerter

We also save $900K

This leaves a huge hole at center while creating a logjam at PF (Giannis, Bobby, Prince, Lyle, Smith). Honestly, I prefer the Portis for Ellis/Lyles as we get a younger SG and add a rotational PF to replace Portis.

Lyles/Portis can play center

Teams would be scoring at will in the paint with these two playing center.

He doesn't have any better options as far as we know. We talked about it all of May and June - some combination of Brook, Bobby, Pat, 23 and 33 needed to produce a better option at SG. So far that hasn't happened.

Bucks in: Ellis, WCJ
Kings in: Brook
Magic in: Huerter
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

As others have already said, it takes two to make a trade. Its possible Horst hasn't found an offer he likes yet.

I don't think Brook has enough value to net us WCJ and Ellis but would do this in a heartbeat if offered.

Spencer Haywood is 75. I know we have been signing older players the last few years, but even he is too old for Horst. Plus he is more of a PF.

Tony Bradley averaged 15-10-2-2 in 22mpg last year in the G League with a +11.5 net rtg. Not a vertical spacer but a very big dude with pretty good feet and the rebounding gene.

So... In other words... He doesn't have any better options?

Bucks offered Highsmith the minimum. I guess Dame called him to lure him to Mil.

I think we're stuck with Pat. His contract is negative value and the Bucks don't have any realistic sweeteners (Marjon is not a sweetener). The only realistic move(s) I can of is trading Brook or Bobby for a lesser player at a lesser cost to get under the apron and then pairing Pat with whoever is left. And in this scenario, your bigs rotation is likely much worse than it currently is.

Outside of a 2-guard on a minimum deal or trading Marjon for seconds, I think we're done here.

This is likely the case unless he wants to overpay to add one.
