Angel played 40 min
Dana and Diamond gave you 0 pts and 38 min combined.
Stopped feeding Angel and Cardoso (Obviously since she was benched in the 4th)

Smh

Why did Cardoso only play 20 mins?

She basically said because Izzy who shot 4/10 was having a good enough game to bench Cardoso who locked down the paint in the 1st half smh

Bad call by TSpoon. I don't take Cardoso out unless it's for foul trouble or rest.

She's the WNBA's Dennis Rodman. Look next for Angel in a wedding dress on Michigan Avenue.

That would be awesome tbh  she'd kill it too

The league needs to do a better job. I couldn't find any of the games yesterday. It doesn't help that my streaming service seems to always not identify WNBA games when I filter by sports.

My gut tells me she was covering up an injury, personal issue, or a disciplining of some sort. But I could be wrong.

Yep and it's going to be bothering her for the rest of the season. Which includes the Olympics :noway:

Barbie and Chen are also insanely fun to watch.

I wish I could find it the clip of this, but it was either DT or Sue Bird saying a year or so back about Chennedy:

"If Chennedy Carter ever gets her sh*t together, watch out".

Welp. Here we are.

The Sky have a foundation right now. Next offseason will be critical because they need to add more shooting and help at PG

They do indeed have a foundation. Two perennial All Stars, even if Carter was cheated out of a slot this season. Another question for the Sky is whether Cardoso will become a third star or merely a serviceable center. I mean, she definitely won't be a bust, but it's not yet clear that she will dominate, as one would hope from a #3 pick in what was regarded as a strong year.

I think Kamilla is a bit behind the curve because she didn't get a full camp. I think Year 2 Cardoso will be a monster.

If I had to take those three as my core I'd be pretty confident that I can build a contender. Especially if Reese continues to develop that jumper and Chennedy keeps focused.

This week's schedule is kinda wonky due to Camp Week, where the teams play early games and invite kids at camps to attend. Wednesday is a huge slate of games but they all start early:

Liberty vs Sun, 11AM (all times EST)

Dream vs Sky. NOON

Mystics vs. Fever. Noon

Aces vs. Storm. 3pm

Wings vs. Mercury. 3:30pm

I hope NBA TV will carry replays.

Sky vs Liberty is on Thursday at 7pm.

Angel needs to average 8.4 rebounds to break the all-time WNBA single season rebounding record, and 12 more double-doubles to break the all-time WNBA single season double-double record.

But that single season rebounding record was set in a 34 game season. This is only the second 40 game season in WNBA history.

However, Angel's rebounding is still historically great, and potentially record-setting. When Sylvia Fowles set the single season total rebounding record, she also set the per game record with 11.88. Angel is currently at 11.85, which would tie Jonquel Jones for second best ever, and she could still pass Fowles before the end of the season.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

The fact that she's on par with Fowles and Jones is nuts.

In her last 11 games, she's only failed to collect than 12 rebounds 3 times. I'm thinking she might be able to break Fowles' record without caveats.

maintaining that high an average over more games is more impressive than fewer games isn't it?

Well it's going to end up being the same. She'll have more than 404 rebounds in 34 games.
