I think Towns is a target.

However, it is tough to work salary-wise. Randle+ Mitch + Deuce + Sims = 50M. Towns makes 49,2. Randle + Mitch + Precious S&T deal + Sims = 50,5.

Its tough to make Wolves swallow Randle if he is UFA next year. Also we ran out of good assets.

Utah doesn't need to trade Kessler. He just had a bad season and his value dropped. Utah will not pull the trigger if did not receive an over-the-market offer.

I agree that he's only really a peak weapon at the 5, but he's had a distaste and defensive ineffectiveness for the position his whole career.

Wasn't Towns horrendous from the 3 point line vs the Mavs in the playoffs if I recall correctly?

Horrendous or not, teams would be forced to guard him on the perimeter. In fact, teams wouldn't be able to double us with the lineup I mentioned above. EVERYBODY would be a 3 pt threat.

something is up whatever is happening. The fact Precious is still just out there and we have no backup big (no sims is not a rotational big). And with Mitch's injury history the FO knows they need insurance there. I can't just think this is just precious having multiple options and taking days to decide. Something else is going on here...
