It's no secret that a lot of media guys loved Fred. There probably was tension between scott and fred and the media naturally felt some type of way

I don't see what's wrong with him having an opinion though. So far Scottie hasn't led the team to anything so it's perfectly normal for people to doubt him. Until the team makes the playoffs and at least get to the 2nd round and beyond you can't really say that the criticism is just hating on Scottie.

There is nothing wrong with what was said by Lewenberg. Barnes has shown he's an emotional baby on the court many times (e.g. not bothering to close out, passing up game winning shots, etc).

Now that doesn't mean he cant change and become a leader. He has been saying and doing all the right things off the court but will ultimately get judged for how he leads on the court. Sadly the team is inept of talent so he will truly get tested this upcoming season lol.

Sometimes you can be the best player but not a leader (go look at kawhi), which is fine as well. Just don't let people question your effort on the court ever.

Lol is it just me or does our media folk seem to want to bring up FVV out of nowhere every chance they get?

We have a poster here who does the same thing when he pops up our of nowhere on his drunken tirades lol. The Raptors talk about new era and positive fresh start and media is like, nope, I miss the old team, even though the reason we moved on was because we sucked with them and had to do something different lol
