It's pretty much the perfect storm to have his mother very involved.

She's smart and savvy, yet doesn't seem to have much of a career to interrupt, so she's perfect to look after his business affairs.

Of course he's also a young single father.

And he happens to be her only child.

Your mother or whoever managing your finances is just not the same thing when hundreds of millions are involved.

No guys you don't understand. In a league where players get suspended for beating up their partners, waving guns in public, etc. In an NBA where most dudes try to load manage and skip matches and don't play defense when they bother to show up. In a world where 80% of pro athletes go broke three years after they retire.

Do you know who isn't an adult ? The guy that shows up every day at work, plays hard on both ends every night, doesn't make any headlines outside of basketball, makes sure he puts enough money aside to take care of his family no matter what happens to his career and relies on the person he trusts the most in the world to help him manage his finances :lol:
