Maybe it was just pick swaps? NY is a better team so it would have almost no value.
The only picks NY can offer are teh Detroit and Washington pick swaps, which are unlikely to transfer in 2025, and have a pretty good chance of not transfering at all, turning into 3 2nd round picks (one of them becomes a 2nd, the other one becomes two 2nds - don't remember which is which).
So, these are pretty uninteresting first round picks (probably why these are the 2 Jersey didn't ask for), but if they do convey, they'll be in the top 12-18 range I would guess, depending on win totals for Detroit/Washington if they start to win. The potential range of these picks isn't bad, but the odds that they won't convey is a bummer.
Technically, NY could still offer 2026 and 2030 pick swaps (not that interesting) they have their 2026, 2028 & 2030 firsts, as you have to hold one every other year, Jersey already has their 2028 pick swap.
And they have quite a few 2nd rounders.
