The vote needs to be taken away from the media or else have their impact severely watered-down. It will likely never go to a Heat player again unless the team finishes with the number 1 record in the NBA (and not with a stacked roster).

The major takeaway, at least for me, is that Bam thinks his teammates are holding him back and it’s a low key dig at the front office.

Bam got that wrong. The “undrafted dudes” are the good defenders, while the drafted ones are the turnstiles

He's out (Saddiq Bey) for possibly half the season, so Washington is paying him for a rehab season and hopefully 1 1/2 to 2 normal seasons from him.

Tough break for him that he got hurt, def. could've gotten more this summer. i imagine after the Oladipo saga the appetite wasn't that great here to commit to a guy that may not be able to play until very late in the season plus this is a homecoming for him.

I thought this was a minor injury? Must be Nikola Topic’s doctor.

Ducking Bam, good decision tbh

That 2/6 on wide open looks (0/2 from 3 2/6 from the line)and only buckets made were open dunks, Jovic been seeing that trash for 2 seasons now. Bam already in playoff mode!

You can tell Embidd/Bam are complete front runners instead of helping their own countries in Cameroon/Nigeria make it and uplift there own people they joining a super team to get carried to a gold medal.

Bam was born in the US, raised by an African American mother, and grew up in a trailer in NC. I don't even know if he's ever even been to Nigeria. Why wouldn't he play for Team USA?

Also, the young folk line up might be the best lineup for team USA. Hali, Ant, Tatum, AD, Bam looked unstoppable on both ends. Kerr might have to make some hard decisions lol

TBH Bam should be more focused on improving his outside shot and less about past DPOY awards.

The way things are looking ATM, he can't share the court with Ware at all. Neither one of them is showing to be a reliable enough shooter. Bam with a bad offensive game today.

I'm just happy to be excited about basketball again, even if it's not the Heat. Everything from the Dame trade until now has been miserable.

Just wait until the season starts and Dru Smith is covering Jokic all game in the low post. It will continue to be miserable

On the positive side, he seems to have taken two 3s!

Fu*k that I'm checking out until the playoffs after the Olympics are done. The team doesn't care about the regular season, why should I?

I see genuinely see no realistic path to trading Herro this year unless something out of nowhere pops up or we take a lesser deal which I don't think will happen. I keep thinking about the possibility of him going to Utah but that seems to continue to diminish with Keyonte George probably looking ready to take over at the starting guard spot. Not sure about them trading for Herro with a young cheap two guard ready to take over scoring duties. They also have other guards on really good deals like Clarkson 14 mil and Sexton 18 mil. They also drafted Isaiah Collier and Cody Williams. The one player that does make sense for them because of contract is Duncan Robison but we will have to pay them to absorb into space. That's if we want any sort of flexibility against the 2nd apron. Duncan is the easiest path to making a trade with his partial guarantee that also dubs as an expiring.

Bam got that wrong. The “undrafted dudes” are the good defenders, while the drafted ones are the turnstiles

He probably was thinking about Duncan specifically

You mean the player he has the most offensive chemistry with?

Having to play with Jagsmith and Martin at the 4 spot I think has been the most detrimental. Has zero help on the boards or with weakside defense. It's all hyper perimeter focused for Spo. Hope that changes now with Ware.

They'll probably keep that rotation because this second group is going to kill teams in the Olympics, too much defensive versatility. That mfer AD when he is healthy and focused is such a force

That’s a criticism of size which is a different criticism of what’s being implied when “undrafted” is evoked. Undrafted being brought up suggests that Bam is commenting on skill/ ability

Convo is about defense.

Not offensive dribble hand off actions
