“Super unique defender, honestly things we saw on film in college,” Legarza said of Dunn. “His ability to defend around the rim as kind of a wing. There are parts of practice where he’s picked up the point guards and navigated screens. There’s been times where he’s like a big, coming over to block shots. … His rim defense is something that’s really impressed me so far.”

“(Ighodaro’s) got great tools, good hands, he’s smart,” the head coach added of the Arizona native. “He’s been good in everything we’ve given him. We’ve had him in no-switch type defenses and he’s getting a hang of that. We’ve had him pick up the point guard full court and create havoc that way and he definitely has kind of a knack for switching and being able to move his feet in the perimeter, which is going to help him.”

It's amazing how much publicity and recognition this kid is getting just off of his name rather than really showing anything on the court yet!

Its because his dad. His dad said last year Bronny is better than his teamates. Forced the lakers to get him and pay him $8 mill.

Bronny is a 3 star player with a 5 star last name. With his measurables and shooting % / play in college . Nobody would get a chance in the league, unless you have lebron as daddy!

Well, here we go! Finally an interesting Summer League, the last one was 6 years ago!

I seriously think that we have a good one in Ryan Dunn. Huge addition to our team. It's important for him to show his skills and get his confidence up in Summer League.

I remember Bender and Chriss playing bad or meh at best in Summer League and that's usually a bad signal about their future.

OTOH Stix played well and some years later he is yet in the league and he has a really nice role and contract.

DaRon Holmes tore his achilles tendon!! I know some here were dejected when we traded him after drafting him.

Yeah he didnt have that injury beforehand. Cant put a player down for an injury. Dont Jinx us with Dunn!

Also, saw something that said LiAngelo Ball > Bronny. Who would you rather have?

I would cut them BOTH!! But honestly, I think LiAngelo has a little game and at least he is like 6"5.

Was getting ready to watch this, thinking it's 8 pm ET, but I guess it's 11pm ET. 10 for me.

He fits better than Dunn because he's a more polished player on offense and not like Dunn who we still don't know if he can even shoot his FT's reliably.

He's still young enough to recover fully but for us with such a short window to win an injury that takes at least a year to recover from would have been devastating for a title run so I guess we lucked out.

Roddy dribbles with his feet.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

He scored only 6 points but he is a guy that moves the ball and cuts hard but we had a ball hog at PG (Boui) and Roddy trying to look nice. Hard to watch these guys.

Defensively Dunn looked great.

Roddy was embarrassing. Playing like he thinks he's the best player out there. Just low IQ plays all night
