You are cherry picking one bad season. I agree Clarkson had a bad year on a tanking team but outside of that has typically been at least a 34% shooter from 3.

With that said JC is probably not a huge need for the Lakers especially after they drafted another supposed shooter in Knecht. They desperately need a center and more athleticism across their roster.

There is no shooter that would ever shoot 29 percent from 3.

34 percent is below lg average. He isn’t a shooter at all by any means.

I have Clarkson as a negative value contract.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

This trade is really two trades: Kessler for the 29 pick and Paying LA 2 2nds to take on Clarkson. You could cut out the Clarkson one and just do the Kessler for 29' pick.

I have Gabe Vincent as negative value as well.

The Lakers moved out of Minnesota decades ago. Their center is named Anthony Davis.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.
