When do we have concerns about Knecht? Two absolute stinkers.

My issue with him was that he was a below average defensive player, which seems hard to do considering his size and length and playing for Rick Barnes. No team is going to give him the greenlight to gun out the gate, so he's going to have to bring some intangibles to earn court time. I didn't like Hood-Schifino coming out of college, but I did like Austin Reaves. Knecht, I'm tepid on. Feel he would have worked better on a team like Detroit. I don't know what kind of role he's going to have with this iteration of the Lakers.

Immediately. He's 23 and a scorer.

Zach Edey should match up with Walker Kessler tomorrow. Should be an interesting first look.

He will look better playing off LeBron and AD. Not a good start so far tho.

Not concerned...
This is about what I expected. (I don't have high expectations for him).

I think knecht is a better athlete than people think but not the pure shooter he’s painted as. He might not be the perfect catch and shoot off ball role player people want him to be with Lebron, just merely a good one. A guy who shoots 75%, 77% and 77% from the foul line over his 3 college seasons probably takes a bit of adjustment to become deadly from NBA 3 range if he’s gonna.

Cody W played terribly last night.

I bet he's glad that more folks are paying attention to Bronny than him.

A top 10 pick needs to perform better that that.

He has a clear path of being the best Center in the class.

He definitely needs time and a lot of reps.

Why aren't all the Cody doubters **** on him like the Edey haters? We need more immaturity for all prospect haters on this board.

He looked like Gumby Snell out there.

because i was a cody doubter (had him late 20s on my big board) and he's performing exactly as i expected he would, but it doesn't bring my any joy as a jazz fan to rip him at this point.

otoh, i had collier higher than everybody in the world (#4 on my board) and of course he has looked really good in limited minutes. the two primary issues he had at USC - turnovers and shooting - he has improved early on. 1.3 turnovers per game (3 to 1 assist to TO) and shooting splits of 48/38/75.

it hasn't even been close between collier and williams so far.
