I keep thinking about the possibility of him going to Utah but that seems to continue to diminish with Keyonte George probably looking ready to take over at the starting guard spot. Not sure about them trading for Herro with a young cheap two guard ready to take over scoring duties. They also have other guards on really good deals like Clarkson 14 mil and Sexton 18 mil. They also drafted Isaiah Collier and Cody Williams. The one player that does make sense for them because of contract is Duncan Robison but we will have to pay them to absorb into space. That's if we want any sort of flexibility against the 2nd apron. Duncan is the easiest path to making a trade with his partial guarantee that also dubs as an expiring.

I’m coming to terms with the idea that they’ll be no major changes.

Likely will start the year with the first 5 as:
Rozier
Herro
Butler
Jovic
Bam

It is what it is I guess :(

Plus Duncan isn’t going anywhere if they are willing to lose Swider.

Atleast we still have Pullin. I can understand Stevens kinda losing out because even though he's a great playmaker, being 6'0" and not a plus athlete is hard in the modern nba

The Godfather knows Dru Smith is a gem. Great eye for talent.

The 15th roster spot will be filled midseason when the prorated salary won’t push them over the 2nd apron.

I think Burks was brought in to take over for Duncan. Burks has shot a consistent 40% from 3 for like 4 years in a row. He didn’t sign here to sit.

Are none of you thrown off by the Swider thing? I thought they would hold onto him.

If he's fighting for a job not sure why he didn't play yesterday. Wonder if there was some type of deadline with that QO that they had to convert.

When Spo recruited Josuelito to sign for the vet minimum last year he and the organization must of have made him some promises. Best guess on why we haven't attempted to dip our hands in the PG market. They must of told him he was going to be one of the primary bench ball handlers. This is probably why we have stacked the 2 way with multiple PG's. Smith technically being the 3rd string PG with Pullin as the developmental SkyForce prospect.

I just don't get the Dru Smith fascination besides defense but that's not enough.

Excluding a multi-player trade, there just isnt room for another guy with his skillset. They can always find another specialist to develop through their pipeline.

Larsson is the next man up to be developed and he’s on a guaranteed deal
