Don’t see Sac doing that. It’s too much to get a guy, when his camp is saying he wants to test FA.

The Jazz people are going to freak... unless it's every pick in the future of the NBA and every player that has ever lived added together.

What is Keegan's value alone?

Trader Danny won't like me saying this, but Lauri isn't 2 first round draft picks better than Keegan. They might be similar impact sort of players this upcoming season.

Has it been established that Lauri will still want to test free agency even if he gets traded to a playoff team willing to give him his max? It makes sense for him to want to test free agency if he ends up being stuck in Utah while they're rebuilding and may be reluctant on maxing him. Doesn't make much sense for him to pass up getting his maximum amount of dollars on a team that could possibly contend.

He might not be, but Keegan's numbers are going to crater with the addition of DeRozan. Maybe his rebounding goes up, but ppg will be disappointing. Too many on-ball players around him now for him to expand his offensive responsibilities.

I think this is reasonable value for Lauri. I'd still rather just keep him, though.

Markannen is a better player, in this contract situation, Murray is more valuable.

This might be the picture perfect example of why a Markannen trade is unlikely to happen. It has the value that Utah would likely require to pry Lauri loose yet Sacramento shouldn't do it.

Yes. Keegan can shoot.

Wasn't Ainge asking for Murray why the Kings pivoted to DeRozan? Pretty sure it got reported that the inclusion of Murray was the deal breaker.

Where have you seen that, because it's totally new to me? And who are in Lauri's camp?
The trade prop itself seems fair, I might well take it,
but I don't think Ainge would, and only his opinion matters.

It hasn't been established that Lauri wants to test FA at all. He did that once and ended up as a cheap role player in Cleveland. The belief in Utah is that he will happily sign the R&E on August 6th for the max he can get, which includes an instant raise, and I have not heard anything different from Lauri's direction. That's why Ainge is not under any pressure to take a merely fair trade offer.
