Well it’s a good thing that the bulls did not draft Devin Carter . He is going to be out for six months

I don't know. The Javonte Green we briefly saw at the end of the season was scoring the ball pretty well.
But yes I agree. Denver should have signed him two weeks ago.
If that Javonte Green is real, we should resign him to a two year deal (second year team option) and pump up his trade value. That guy we saw during the last 9 games would easily get a first round pick from a contender if he was able to do that over the course of a season.

Frankly I want him back anyway, he seems like a net positive all around

Love that dude, but any minutes he gets will come out of Matas' or Phillips'. Also, he might slow the tank. Only ok if Billy promises to only play him at center.

Jesus Christ now that we are rebuilding can we finally get Javonte Green off the roster? He is meaningless to what we are trying to do.
Once a pickle, never a cucumber again.

So Bulls to find and develop a hidden gem player right at a time when it truly doesn't make sense to be re-signing a 30 year old - to this point journeymen.
I think Javonte's best, most impactful days are ahead of him, and truly do believe whatever team signing him is getting a steal like Dallas last year with DJJ.
I begrudgingly agree with you that it doesn't make sense to be us at this stage, and what our goals seem to be (sinking or swimming with youth)

Yeah, he's a winner and his impact would be huge with Caruso gone, but nobody wants that this season. Maybe we'll get something out of Ball by the end of the year.

Exactly. Look, I'm not bagging on Bronny. I'm not bagging on LeBron or the Lakers. They can do whatever they want with their assets for whatever reasons they want. And at the end of the day we are talking about a 15h roster spot at most.
How many 6'1 guards with longish arms and an athletic vertical leap with almost no offensive game end up as defensive specialists in the NBA? Its got to be close to zero. Summer league rosters every year are littered with guys who fit this description, and often with vastly superior measurables. If they are even lucky enough to make summer league rosters at all.
He's not a real NBA prospect. He's a novelty. And frankly that's totally fine so long as its fine with him.
Let's change the name to Bronny Duck, a player good enough to be a high school all-american, highly recruited and was projected to be a definite draft pick in his class. Then that gets derailed by cardiac arrest which affected his only college season. So whatever skills and abilities shown before have evaporated I guess. The hate he gets because of his last name is crazy. I guarantee you people on this board would be saying I wish the Bulls had 2nd round pick to take Bronny Duck.
The problem with your hypothetical is most, if not all, of those accolades were inflated because of who his dad is. In the same way he wouldn't have been drafted if he wasn't LeBron's son, he also wouldn't have been an All-American, 4-star recruit, and projected top pick.

You can afford to overpay OG when the rest of the roster is paid at or below their market value.

He's also 4-5 years older than most of the players playing and most of them will be in the G League/International. Summer League is really meaningless.

Still looks good. This league is too obsessed with potential.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.
NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

True, but dominating them the way that he is might indicate that he’s better than G league level talent. At the very least, he seems like a guy that can bring his game up to the NBA level.

Risacher has a very quick release with his jumper. I'm liking how he's moving without the ball against Washington.

I still can’t believe Javon Freeman-Liberty wasn’t an All Star based on what he looked like last year
