They trained together in the past. I'd rather go against Embiid than root for him though. Just can't stand the foul baiting style. That goes for anyone who does it, not just him.

Spearheaded Boston to a title, contained Luka, made clutch shot after clutch shot.

Although it’s a bit shocking that he’s not even congratulating his teammate, who played at a borderline all star level this year, and by no means warrants a scoffing for his team-USA replacement selection.

It was great actually. He’s hard to stop if he attacks the rim. Shooting percentage be above 50 if he attacks more than shoot side step 3’s.

IMO Jaylen lost “his spot” (awhile ago) to Booker and Ant, not Derrick. You only need so many wing creators.

Several of you caught that my joke of replacing Embiid with Horford ran afoul of the fact that Al wasn’t born in the US.

I hope to never have to root for Embiid the Flopper — would struggle to — and after this past year’s first round, sadly include Bam the Dirty on that as well.

But: go team USA!
