Are you ready for value signing 6’5 220 Haywood Highsmith to be your starting PF again?
Wiltside wrote:Can we sign anyone for minimum?
Could run it back with Achiuwa as an extra PF. Or perhaps sign Fultz as backup 1.

Im ready for Keshad to take his minutes. Cant hate on the value signing but I dislike the potential minutes allocation.

I don't know what to make of his mobility yet. Haslem an interesting comp. Think he'll move better once he gets the system down. I also he's got some chase down blocks in his future.

Ware’s sprint numbers being comparable or better than Bam are surprising. He seems to plod along a lot, so didn’t expect this. Or maybe I’m reading this all wrong
Ware shattered combine records this year. He’s no plodder

Guy kinda plays like UD did way back in the day
Not really high on his mobility, and he has a low ceiling, but he could be a grindy glue guy given the opportunity. I could see him becoming a valuable piece of the roster.
Seems like a good teammate who can hit open jumpers, hustle, rebound, and defend. Got to work like UD to stick, would be cool to see that torch passed.

Ware is going to be fun to watch develop......Every dang summer Miami uncovers or develops random dudes off the street.....now we get to see what those guys can do with a dude that has real world mesurables....
It is a dang shame they did not have this ability to just find NBA talent under every rock they turn over during the big 3 era. I know the NBA is moving away from that roster construction model...but if any organization could pull it off it is this one.

Not now, if they sign anyone it would put them into the 2nd apron, they once again have to wait until late in the season to add someone to a prorated salary. It's weird how his happens all the time isn't it?

Brunson took the max; he could have waited a year to get a lot more but didn't want to risk a major injury with him about to turn 28. If he were to lose some of his quickness he's done as a high level player.
Think of it this way, if he were to tear his ACL in his age 28 season, he's done till 29, probably will take another season to get back to where he should be, now he's age 30 as a small guard, I'm not sure you give a guy like that big money. Kinda like the Isiah Thomas situation with Boston although he's way smaller than Brunson.
