6) Korver
7) Pachulia
8) Captain Kirk

10) Matt Barnes

Kirk was #8 on the career Win Shares list, too.

Kirk gets romanticized a lot. He was very good his first four seasons or so and then his game fell off a cliff. I never got the hard worker label, because what hard worker starts declining so rapidly in his 20s?

Dude please get Stewart off this team. Unbelievably selfish.

I was trying to think if that sounded like him, but then realized I can't think of anything he has ever said. So, I don't know if that sounds like him.

You know I'm a pat fan and I love just reading that.

As for Matas, Matas is the first guy I can remember that we drafted and legit thinks he's better than he is from day 1: and that ain't a bad thing. Tyrus had some of that attitude. Rose didn't, Jimmy maybe but he hardly played, Noah maybe. But it reminds me of TT a bit in that he's going to try things and sometimes they aren't going to work but he'll try.

I give today's performance a solid B. I worry he's not going to get those calls when he's bouncing off guys in the NBA. But as I said, I love that he'd rather screw up than not try.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Thoughts after 1 SL game

Positives:
- guard-like dribble moves
- very aggressive
- quick for his size
- shot blocking
- possibly good at drawing fouls, but it could just be poor SL reffing
- can seemingly create a bit for himself and others

Negatives:
- 3-point shot
- FTs
- strength
- perimeter D

If he can round out some of the rough edges he could be really good.

Matas looked good out there. The one thing I kept thinking when watching the game is how good he’ll look playing with Giddey.

Bobby Portis certainly had that confidence. Similarly, I loved that pick too and felt that the GM was being legit when giving the standard "We were thrilled that he was still there when our pick came up" line. (not a shot at Gar/pax or AKME, i think all GMs say that line across the board). Matas is definitely one where it wasn't BS, especially considering a week before the draft there was buzz they were trying to trade up for Matas specifically.
