Someone also needs to tell our summer league coaches that we are allowed to set picks; both for the ball and also away from the ball.

We for sure held Marjon out of trade talks? That's confirmed?

I doubt it. More likely no one wanted him.

AJoJ looked pretty good initially, then faded.

If you are ass in summer league it’s a good indicator you’ll never be a player in the league.

Wasn't Larry sanders ass for the first couple years but then dominated like his 3rd?

Worth noting that Ryan Rollins is nearly two years younger than MarJon Beauchamp & 3 years younger than AJ Green. After what I saw today I'm quite intruiged to see if he can be developed into something.

No, but he's a year younger, cheaper and we didn't waste a first on him.

AJ looked good, would like to see him attack hedges more aggressively. I'm confident he can get the corner, so why isn't he? Too quick to the escape dribble.

Is there evidence we held him off trades? I can't imagine a 24 year old non-rotational player with a $4m team option coming up is that appealing.

Pretty happy with what I saw outta the rooks. Not gonna do anything for the main squad this year but might actually tune into some Herd games just for them lol.

We can all agree Aj Johnson deserved a first round grade after this one game.

To me thats a total win of a day for us.

Tyler Smith and Rollins and Livingston looking good are just icing on the cake

I do love the traits and skillsets that Johnson and Smith continue to display. Pretty optimistic about Smith carving out a role sooner than later. That jumper is a thing of beauty, just needs to become passable defensively. AJ flashes a lot of things you can't coach like breakneck speed, shiftiness, deceleration along with a quick release and good handles. He just doesn't seem to know how to utilize/maximize his advantages yet, and shot selection/decision-making left a bit to be desired. Would be ecstatic with Shannon/Smith right now, but Johnson looks to have an NBA future. Rollins and Livingston were very solid, really liked what I saw out of them.

That really popped in his highlights.

Looks like a real prospect. Fast AF

He played essentially how I expected him to. Until he adds weight, develops into a passable shooter, and increases his assist/TO rate he won't be a playable NBA player. He's very fast but the rest of his game has a long ways to go.

Badji was pretty rough out there but I think you can see alot of natural talent with him. Wouldn't mind replacing Galloway with him on a 2way

if this is how you expected him to play then you were fine with the picK?

I'm very skeptical that he'll ever be a good enough shooter and be able to add enough weight without losing his quickness to be effective in the NBA. And especially not within the Bucks window to win a title

Shooting was a bit rough but I liked that AJ wasn’t afraid to go to the hoop and actually showed some really nice contested finishing
