Dodged another near worthless aging ex-star. Now., hope Dallas signs Klay so we can continue to add a solid backup center and 3&D wing like cam, dfs or grant.

What are the Clippers doing?
They trade for Harden from 76ers giving up 2 FRPs plus a SRP and expiring contracts for 76ers to use that space to add Clippers PG?
LOL. Talk about ineptitude
They then sign talented but mercurial Kevin Porter and Bones Hyland last year and causing fights. That’s one messed up team with Kawhi and Harden leadership and role models at top.

Yeah, it’s DAinge.
It’s gonna cost AR + Max + Knecht + 2-3 FRPs. No Vando since he traded away Vando.

Denver is most likely NOT a Championship caliber team this year.
The lost yet another key piece in KCP and invested heavily to get plug & play rookie, Holmes for #28 pick Dunn, #56 pick, SRP 2026, SRP 2031.
Unfortunately, kid suffered an achilles injury and is out for season.

Who here had thought and seen the Denver Nuggets as anything more than a 1 and done team? I didn't. I knew from the jump, their whole world and major success was climbing to the Mountain top and then like the Portland Trailblazers, nothing after that.
Sure, they got our number. They beat the Lakers. But we own and occupy that Head space. We own that mental part of Denvers psyche. But that was their mistake. Their coach and Fan base made it all about a particular team, but not about a greater success. Like the Spurs. Let's get more than 1. Denver blew their opportunity for greatness last year, by Choking against the TWolves. But hoooraaay, they'll say....at least we beat the Lakers....and that mentality folks, is why they ain't goin nowhere

With Joker, Murray and AG locked up, they could have easily been a multiple champions team if the ball bounced their way.
Unfortunately, the yearly hits have continued to rot the team just enough to keep them out of the ring chase.
It might not be much but losing KCP and a guy like Holmes will be really difficult on them then you remove 2 more future SRPs then their warchest makes it super difficult to rise and return to the top and keep up with top tier teams upgrading.

I had them pegged right along with the Bucks, our 2020 team, and (dare I say it) this years Celtics team.
None of those teams are/were dynasties...or anything close. I think Joker is an amazing player. I think Giannis is incredible too. I prob have Lebron as the GOAT....its razor thin. I go back and forth. All these guys are incredible players, and (up till a couple years ago for Lebron) you can't honestly write them out of any contention. I think had AD not got hurt so much, and the FO completely ruined the team getting Westbrick.....the Lakers certainly could have won another title. That window is sealed shut now, IMO...but there could have been another title from them.
I think the Bucks have some things to figure out, and they may have made themselves worse now to the point that their window is closed....but I certainly don't think you could have written them off when they won....but I certainly never thought they'd go win another 2-3 titles with that team. Exactly my opinion with Denver. Could they win another? Sure. Some good luck, maybe sign a piece or two that work well, and they'd be right back in it. I don't see 3-4 titles with that group though.
Mostly with all those teams, you have this amazing player....but you really don't have anything particularly special along-side them. Now I know the Laker fans and gonna point to AD....but I'll point to him getting hurt right when it mattered, and there went that.
Celtics are slightly different, in that I think Tatum is def a notch or two below where those guys are/were. Fantastic player...but he's not close to what Lebron was, or Joker. But I do think he has by far the better all-around team at his back. But at the end of the day, the differences kinda cancel eachother out, and your left in the same spot.....good enough to win a title, with a little luck, a couple breaks, and by being in the vicinity long enough. You hover around the playoffs for 6-7 years, and your bound to get your break....unless there is some sorta juggernaut hanging around. No Juggernauts right now (keep eye on OKC though).
Celtics, Bucks(not so much now), Denver....could see them all pull another one off. Could see them fade away.
Now Denver and Celtics both could make a good trade (very hard with the new aprons) that could throw them into dynasty territory...but for now I'd bet they both win 1 more each (unless OKC does what I think it's gonna do, and gobbles up all the air for a few years).

Boston is scary because of the supporting cast. Lot will depend on the health of KP. Tatum, Brown and White plus Jru are top guards/wings that play top tier defense but they need that scoring center that KP provided to get over the hump.
One thing is for sure, the East got a lot more competitive with NY and 76ers plus Heats loading up. Reaching the finals won’t be that easy no more for the leprechauns.

Yeah, Boston has a pretty solid team. I'd be worried if I were them...having to put faith in KP. He's twice as fragile as AD. But if KP can keep it together, I could totally see them winning another one with that squad. But like you said....6'ers getting PG is a pretty darn good move.
I also think this next year, OKC is gonna come into the playoffs with another year's growth under their belt....and lessons learned from this last run. I personally think it was a little "fluky" that the Mav's got to the finals. I expect next year it will be a more rounded team that emerges. Not that the Celtics won't beat that team....but I just think it'll be a tougher go.

Really surprised Dallas made it then even more surprised at how poorly they played against Boston.
Agree in the West, the new generation of teams are about to take over. OKC just reloaded from the top team with vet leadership in Caruso and Stein which they really really overpaid but who cares. These two also bring hustle and intensity which the youngsters needed.
Then you got Minn who are long and strong with Antman leading the way.
Also, Spurs and Rockets will become formidable and possible become top tier team tho that might take another 1-3 years.

Then he talks about “fuken” loving Russ as they look to trade him because he opted in for $4million, lol
What a clown show!

Re: Around the NBA XII
Denver picking up Westy for their backup guard needs after KCP left then they traded Reggie Jackson to save some money is a golden moment.
Nuggets becoming less and less formidable and looking like a one hit wonder. Holmes would have been great backup stretch but after giving up so much to move up few spots, they are now a much weaker team..
