What's the over/under on OP's age? 15 years old? I'm leaning towards the under... :noway:

i listed cousy but could easily have left him off.

in the end he was more of a "well known" name as opposed to defining guard like the other four

This is too easy. MJ, Magic, Kobe and Curry. No questions or debate needed. Next.

I had to swap Jordan out for SGA

simply because SGA is the modern Jordan

In order of defining the point guard position, it's probably Bob Davies, Bob Cousy, Oscar Robertson, and Magic Johnson.

That's the way OP operates. One question in the thread title, another in the poll.

Plus the Kobe bashing (and I'm not even a huge Kobe fan...).

There have been multiple threads in the past with this modus operandi.

Disappointing.

If the question was actually referring to the Mount Rushmore of guards like the title implies, I'd go:

Jordan
Magic
Curry
Robertson/West (coin flip)

For an actual Mount Rushmore, I go with West, Magic, Jordan, Curry.

Cousy, Oscar, and Kobe are the toughest omissions.

Note that the Presidents on Mt. Rushmore are chosen for being symbolic (personally iconic or otherwise), not purely the very greatest or best.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

You understand how shortsighted that is to not have Thomas, Oscar, West and Stockton on this list. It shows your lack of basketball knowledge.

I mean it's kind of Hard to go against MJ, Magic, and Steph...

Some guys worth mentioning that aren't on the poll are Gary Payton and Jason Kidd. Their defense and ability to guard 1-3 in this era would be huge, and they both provided you solid offense. Payton would be Jrue at his absolute best, and Kidd would be a monster averaging a Triple Double or close to it, making everyone much better than they are.

I would certainly take those guys in this era because of their defensive impact combined with their elite ball skills on offense. I would take both those guys over someone like Nash or CP3

You made a poll and a thread seeking people's opinions. Yet you ignore the opinions and impose your own on others. Which means you have an agenda. Which means you should not be taken seriously, and you should be viewed as someone who is not credible.

No because those guys aren't that good. This is about who is the best, not who is the most famous.
