Holly crap, what happened, was a hurricane or smth, I mean serious question? Cant image being 6 days with no power, i assume you on phone, how do you charge it?

P.S. read follow ups. Ok, it was a storm. Well, I hope they fix up gorbyou soon, do they work on Sundays?

Seems they work Sundays. Came on 25 minutes ago. Final tally: six days and three hours with no power.

I used my car to charge my phone, but it was very slow (and inefficient, obviously), so I spent most of the week with my phone power between 0% and 25%.

Anyways, back to normal life now!

Congrats bro. I've gone through weeks like that and there's just such a relief when that power snaps back on. Relax, have an adult beverage and either crank the AC or turn the fan on high and point that B straight at you. You made it.

You should look at it with a badge of honor. You got to somewhat experience pre-industrial revolution life for a week. :D

JustBuzzin wrote:Reed Sheppard looks like he will probably be the best player in this class when all is said and done. I fell into the appearance trap. I saw white kid undersized and just a 3pt shooter. Turns out this kid has pretty good ball handling skills and is a damn good athlete despite being 6'1.

I was wrong on Sheppard that I will admit.

the trap is the same as it's always been in the summer...play well - he's gonna be an impact guy, play poor - he's a bust.

imho, summer league is just another part of the growth curve. you can see who has game and who doesn't but how it translates to the actual nba pro level is tough to predict. all pundits said this was a weak draft but now folks in this thread are talking about these guys the same way as players from a stronger draft. it's fun to be excited but it's still all a huge question mark at this point.

Rockets have way too many good young wings.

Green/Whitmore/Amen/Eason/Griffin + Reed/Jabari at 1/4.

Someone need to come in to trade for one.

Reed is going to be a highly efficient scorer

Btw Rob Dillingham with 8 points and 4 assists in his first 6 minutes today. 12 at the half.

Reed is balling out again. He might force himself into a starting role by the end of the year.

Sheppard is a walking bucket and a stock machine to boot. Honestly don't see a real weakness in his game. Rockets got themselves a good one there.

Did we simply underestimate this draft class?

I see a bunch of quality players so far. Maybe even multiple all-stars.

I completely agree.

This is a stacked class of solid starters.

Our bench group, Cam, Reed, Eason, Amen is going to be a stealing machine. Nuts to think about.
