Kikuchi’s trade value just took a hit, thanks Vlad

Kikuchi just doesn't trust his fastball.

Sadly I also had Kikuchi on my fantasy league team -- opponent had Gallen, I had Kikuchi. I was counting on taking the ERA, WHIP category after last inning, and also tying the W category. Now they are all gone. LOL.

I was doubting they would get much back for Kikuchi but this may seal it. He hasn’t been worth his contract, but it was a good turnaround after his first season.A fine 5th starter but not sure he’s someone you would start in a playoff game like some Jays media guys are speculating. He’s going to either fetch a prospect far away from the majors or someone like a Mitch White type of guy.

He’ll make another error in the 9th, not worried

MVP!

3 WAR now in just over half a season despite his .202/.285/.408 line and 96 wRC+, yes he remains quite clearly the MVP given the overall value he provides

Such is the state of this franchise

It might have. Went from sub 4 ERA to 4.42 after this start. There were recent tweets that he would get Jays a real piece, I doubted that to begin with.
