Best decision for now and for his future even if it sucks we don't get to see more of Castle play

2-0 in Vegas. Three-game W streak. This one sans Castle.

Luckily Bouyea stepped up, poised, smart, quick, determined. Great passing slithery handles, nice finding of pockets of space off screens, nice touch in the paint, good calm leadership.

Sidy looking more fluid, better movement, court vision, D, passing.

Nelson good shooting.

Ward good active D and rebounding.

Mensah a big beast with a nice touch.

It all came together to withstand good D pressure, assert pressure of our own and coalesce with a spread floor and extra passes and hustle for the win.

Woot! Woot! Woot!

If we could just make a shot... And not turn it over and bleed points off them...

Bouyeakasha! Played great. On both ends. We suffered when he sat (and with Castle out).

Ward hustled, was engaged on both ends. Good D; nice scoring touch.

Minix had a hot streak then a cold one, but is a 3-level scorer and has overall stood out positively. Had garnered talk of earning our final 2-way spot. Big, smart, speards the floor, can score inside. I'd like it if we gave him a shot.

Sidy's D stood better as SL progressed. Hounded his man. Great passer. Still too unselfish/unconfident with his shot. This *has* to develop for him if he wants to push his way up the roster depth chart.

We *may* yet have a shot to advance, I think, but now have to depend on the results of other teams.

Very solid first coaching gig by Trevino. Well supported and liked by the Spurs org. And the guys on the SL team. They played hard for him, like a team, with D first in mind and fundamentals and passing, too.

Psssssskshhhhhhhhh!

Can o' whoopass opened.

Bouyeakasha! Played great, even if overdribbled at times mano a mano.

We led I think all the way even without Harrison and Sidy.

#19 is just not a good number for anyone wearing it. I know the guy wearing it had a good 4th Q. Outside of it, he looked eerie familiar like the previous guy who wore it.

Williams, Nelson Jr., stood out well.

Shout out to Minix who has stood out well on both ends. Huge guy with huge tree trunk legs, moves them quickly, communicates clearly with teammates on the court, good leader, switches well on D, bangs well down low, passes well (nice P&R big to big action), can score well inside and out. I hope he gets our final two-way spot. He has earned it.

We finished Vegas SL 4-1 without a collection of good players and still played like a team. Shout-out to Coach Trevino who had us playing like a team, competing, running our sets well, withstanding late game pressure, good switching and communion D, terrific off-ball movent and making extra passes for good, team-wide scoring chances.
