TDS is ready for minutes from day 1. I'm really worried about the bench playmaking though with him likely taking the Ingles minutes.

Not to pile on him, but I don't think Black has been all that locked in defensively either.

You'll get Cole Anthony pounding the air out of the ball and like it!

I'm good. I like getting reps for Paolo/Franz/Suggs more. Can't give everyone the appropriate amount of reps at the same time. Black will get his.

Thing is that he is supposed to be the PG of the future.

And when he isn't locked in defense what is he really give us out there? Don't mean to get on him but I just dont see him as a full time pg.

Man, really concerned about having no real PG or floor setter on this team… Black can’t even breakdown a team in Summer League….

Hawkins feels like the exact same guy he was when he was drafted. Very talented shooter, but certainly not a point guard and certainly not a defender.

Tyus is still out there... don't care what a select few have to say. He would be AWESOME off the bench for us... and yes, I realize a trade would have to be made to make that happen.

Our fanbase has put that on him for some reason.

Team was always going to heavily involve Franz and Paolo on-ball. He can still start with Suggs in the future without our fans defaulting to the progress of Jett and AB over the rest of the team.

It's like OKC tying their wagon to Cason Wallace and Topic.

Man, I was hoping to see some more creation ability from Black and Jett especially with the team's refusal to improve the backcourt externally.

I think Black has great potential still, but I can't help but feel like this team is too good at this point to stick him on the ball and have him initiate sets as the leader of the 2nd unit.

He still feels a long way off from being able to do that at a high level without significant growing pains and it just seems like the team has moved past being able to wait on him to figure that out.

Now if they don't actually care about this year's record, then ok go nuts. But I suspect they care quite a bit.
