So, TDS vs Dalton Knecht. Who you guys want now in a redo?
(Just FYI I knew nothing about Knecht before the draft)

Suggs always had point instincts. I think people need to give up on the idea of this team running any kind of traditional PG. We won’t see Chris Paul and the Suns kind of play here - the ball will be with Paolo and Franz and then they’ll have Suggs and Black as additional playmakers.

Yeah, I doubt anyone is expecting Suggs to develop into a traditional PG. I'm just thinking that the team would rather have him do most of the 'bring the ball up the court and hand it to Paolo' than anyone else

Not a bad night, still has some work to do... Some of it does have to do with the level of talent around him but there are various opportunities to get better

Just watched the second Magic game. Da Silva is GOOD. He plays with a poise as if he has been in the league for years. Anthony Black and Jett Howard were way more mistake prone this game and both looked shakier than game 1. Completely normal and all things considered they both still had flashes of the things that will be their calling cards (Black’s playmaking and defense, Jett’s explosiveness and shooting). They both are gonna have growing pains. Da Silva after two games though seems like an amazing glue guy and his three ball is buttery smooth. He seems beyond ready to contribute now as a floor spacer.

Happy to see they battled back. Huff likely can’t make this roster as a center since we already have three, but he will be signed somewhere.

Based on the Magic's roster construction... TDS.

But that's not a knock on Knecht either as I think he'll be a contributor too.

Did all that with maybe one touch where it was his play.....That back down turnaround jumper..... Everything else he let the game come to him.... Just being smart and knowing where to be.... Very smart player and I think his lateral quickness defensively got a bad rap..... He's moving his feet out there doing a good job.... Da silva is playing like a lottery pick.... And John Hollinger is once again looking like an a$$

Franz is always efficient on both sides of the ball. I think Da Silva could do the same thing. I don't think they have the same offensive games. Franz looks to drive, and Da Silva moves off the ball to get into open spaces.

It didn’t look good when he was getting pinned at mid court and falling over but I love that he got pissed off and took it to the basket in response and then started chirping. That was some Ingles/Suggs type attitude!

Black with a mean steak would be a menace.

I mean look...

Jay Huff is super fun, but he turns 27 years old next month. I'm glad he's playing well because having veterans at PG and C can make such a massive difference in the Summer League, but really he *should* be dominating this level.

The thing that stinks is that I don't think with three centers under contract (and Isaac playing center minutes too) that they are even going to consider him for one of the open two-way slots.

Doesn't really make sense to use one of those spots on a 4th center.

Huff is one of those guys that prove you can get better later in your career, I don't remember huff ever being this mobile and dynamic... He should get a contract somewhere
